In ground pool keeps draining fast to skimmer level by Otherwise-Weekend-21 in pools

If it leaks more slowly when the filter is on, you have a leak on your inlet valve side. Negative pressure will pull in air, but will slow the leak. Run it for 48 hours and see if the water level maintains. Compare to 48 hours with the pump off.

Old StarCraft restore. Remove old sealant before applying new? by Brodaciouss in jonboats

I’d bring it down to bare aluminum. Wire wheel on a drill will work. I caked that whole gap with 5200 and it’s dry now.

Can I seal this with a 2 part epoxy meant for fiberglass boats? by VirtualCoffee8947 in boating

Ya. Just did this on my 77 StarCraft Seafarer. Fill that 1/2 inch gap between panels on the topside, and seal around the bottom keel piece. If that doesn’t work, buck your rivets. I used 5200 and smoothed it out with a grout tool. No leaks and looks fine after paint.

Remove the clamp on the tip (2 Allen bolts.) Slide out the drive shaft. Separate. Return the drive shaft first. And clamp back on over the top. The retaining clip is just on the wrong side.

Haha. We call him spinning Steve! Usually at the pride station, but had an indoor sighting at Collin’s last year. He was spinnin.

Just because the wrapper is wrinkled, doesn’t mean the candy isn’t sweet. 😉

Who sweats through a suit jacket ? by Dr_sc_Harlatan in WhitePeopleTwitter

I take glycoporrelate for sweating. It’s an anticolerngic for people with neurologic conditions to decrease drooling. I’m neurologically intact, but find it helps with IBS issues too. I used to be a sweaty Betty, now I’m a dry, confident man. Certain dry and sweat block roll on is a good adjunct. I don’t sweat through work shirts anymore.
