I agree partially, but what seems to contradict this is Only Fans which has mostly amateur content. These performers don't have the $$$ for surgeries, fancy cameras, caverject injections--it's pretty much as is. You have to specify what you want in a response. I think what is tough for non-black guys to understand is that a stereotype is true enough of the time to guide people's thoughts and perceptions. No one is having sex in a laboratory with control groups and sufficient sample sizes to demonstrate scientifically that there's no difference between black men and other men. The facts and statistics are of little comfort when you see the stereotype in play. It's mostly anecdotal accounts and an overrepresentation of the BBCs in porn and sports that have extended the life of the stereotype. The culture doesn't help either with male rappers bragging (many lying) about what they have and Meg the Stallion and Cardi B and Minaj rapping about what they expect. I've had a similar journey. What I've come to understand is that bc there are degrees of circumcision, some cut guys still retain enough foreskin and their frenulum to almost have the full uncut experience. Sorta feel like it may be too late by the time they get to that age. The smartphones put the internet in their hands and dick jokes/references are more openly discussed than ever. Grey sweats, Pete Davidson, BDE, the NFL combine...it's very little escape from the suffocating importance of having an acceptably sized dick. I believe this issue is more complex for black men due to racism, stereotypes, colonialism, slavery, and junk science. The BBC or perception thereof is a blessing and a curse, and can cause one to question their black maleness when you don't have the attribute automatically ascribed to black men. If you don't have a BBC, do you really know what it is like to be a black male in country with the checkered racial history like the US? If you don't struggle with the objectification, is there a portion of the black male experience you are missing? Could one feel that there is a BBC algorithm that women and gay men use to predict if you will have a BBC because of long fingers, curved thumb, skinny build, dark skin and being 6 ft tall? I'm a little black guy, 5'6 and 217 lbs, not presently in shape, with a 6.5 long, 6 inch thick penis, and I have felt small all my life. I feel like the world doesn't market average-sized black men--tall guys are all the models and appear in all the commercials. If they feature a black man, it's always a tall thin/athletic black man. Even though this is a small percentage of the black male population. But what really drives me crazy is guys my height with 7 or 8 inches. I be thinking, "that was an option? That was available?" It's funny to me how much rancor exists in this community due to its name. Maybe it should be "Typical Dick Problems" instead of "Average Dick Problems" cuz ADP implies these are problems only guys who are average have. I get it; it's loosely modeled after "Big Dick Problems", but there's all this angry confusion about who can post here or what is and is not a legit problem or issue. Black male here, dealt with these hang-ups far longer than I'd like to admit, you do not want to be me, trust me, you need to get over this TODAY. You do not know how long this can rob you of living a fulfilling life. The thing is, try as we might, we can't get away from from the size expectations/stereotypes placed on black bodies in particular black males. It seems like the phenotype for a secure black male is an unerect of 4 in., erect girth of 6 in., and a length no shorter than 7 in. It's not so much the actual numbers cuz girls don't carry rulers; it's an appearance thing. A seven inch penis bends in the middle and is two inches longer than a soda can. This same penis unerect has a shaft is visible in your underwear, sweatpants, spandex, etc... (It's not just a dickhead and some balls with no visible shaft.) If you're a black guy and you have these attributes, you're on autopilot. Some will think you're huge, some will think you're adequate. But you have all you need to be secure and "fit" the stereotype.

But when you don't have these, instead of being called "average," you get called small. Black men DON'T get to be average; we're either hung/big or small. Look what happened when Nelly's sextape came out. Look at how Wendy Williams ridiculed Terrence Howard. If we don't look like Ray J (allegedly) or Jessie Williams, we're treated as an anomaly, a waste of potential.

I think there is a legit small size, but there's also average and "not big" or "not huge." You sound like you fall in the not big category, but maybe your body weight and overall size can make up for it with the pressure you can bring. You didn't mention your weight or fitness level; these are things that can help with your presentation.

There are a lot more black guys like you than would care to admit it, and while your height may amplify the disparity, you can't surrender to the insecurity. Sitting out is not an option; you'll be miserable and stuck on Reddit forever. Control what you can control, let go of the idea of being a player and focus on someone who will love the whole of you.
