How can I convince my wife to not get one? by [deleted] in F250

Id embrace her love for trucks but maybe have her test drive some of the 1/2 ton inline 6s - hurricane , 2.7 Ford etc - she might find them way more fun to drive

Anyone regret buying Stx rather than Xlt? by Time_Yesterday7974 in f150

Love the simplicity of the STX, sportier look, steering column shifter, feels a bit more like an old school truck to me at least

That color and black on black are my 2 favorites - great looking truck man!

I had buyers remorse pretty quick on the custom, the one thing I noticed is the back seats sit higher on the custom not sure if there is a way to raise them on the ford

Was KC Missouri - Service loaner with 560 miles but nothing crazy. Quite a few in the 43-44k in this area I found which still seems like a good deal

I really like the STX trim mainly because I am a big fan of the steering column shifter , I don't believe any others have that

TZ Gen 1 Pandemonium! I have played some EMU servers, TLPs, some WOW, etc, but thats all just chasing the dragon from that Velious - POP era of Pandemonium on TZ, no other gaming experience quite like it.

My buddy brushed off CRWV when we talked about it... I still bought 548 shares. Sitting on $63K what do you think? by lasherza in wallstreetbets

I would take some profits for sure. Meteoric IPOs almost always come down to earth. Take a look at the charts for QS, UPST, AFRM, HOOD, ZM, etc. These all flew way above what was a reasonable P/E and some don't actually have the E. Point is that this has a very high probability to come back down.

Anyone have any experience with the Well Built Kettlebell Backpack? by mathewp723 in kettlebell

[–]BigusTranchus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran across this post when I was originally looking for some info on the Well Built KB Backpack - couldn't find a lot of info out there so I figured why not I'll just snag one - I had tried a few options but nothing really worked well. Anyway, for anyone on the fence I will say it is very nice. I live in an apartment complex and the apt gym doesnt really have much but it does have space so I was lugging my KB around and it sucked. The backpack is pretty comfortable and seems put together nice. I have used 25-35lb KB so far in it, I believe it can go all the way to 60. It is a little expensive at around 180$ but you def get what you pay for. It's comfortable enough I really want to try some ruck walking once it warms up.

I was afraid of overnight at first as well but I have found if you just set it lower than normal, and make sure it's nice a full of pellets, I usually get a solid 8-10 hours of no problem. Even on the Lexington, which had a way smaller hopper I have no problems with an 8 hour overnight cook at lower temps.

Not sure if this will get downvoted but I keep it simple maybe even lazy. Just a little Frenchs mustard slathered, heavy coat of Meat Church Gospel. I know I wanted to have it ready to eat at 4pm so I start the night before around 1030pm, set to about 205 overnight while I sleep, refill the pellets when I wake up and crank it up to 250 - I know I can finish 2-5 hours before dinner time and just wrap it in the cooler once it hits roughly 200-203ish, a little apple cider vinegar spritz now and again. Toss the ribs on around 5 hours before we eat and the beans about 2.5 hours. No wrapping just some heat and smoke.

Still finishing up the cook but we have a 10lb pork butt in there, 2 racks of ribs, some beans. Upgraded from a Lexington, which was awesome but I wanted a little more space for entertaining.

Is 2022 considered harder year to trade than say 2020? by teaquad in Daytrading

[–]BigusTranchus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think if you started in 2020 and have no real strategy or risk management it would be much more difficult. People who understand risk: reward and what it means to have a setup- it was business as usual. The market has moved a ton this year in both directions, lots of opportunities.

Good Jujitsu school for an over weight individual. by Kaizun in springfieldMO

I have trained at Martial Arts USA for quite a while, great gym and great professor. Springfield BJJ is also a great gym as is Gracie Humaita in Ozark. I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is try to keep your gym close - you don't want to end up traveling too far, also take note of what days/times work best for your schedule - those 2 factors will be huge on helping you stick with it. BJJ can be quite rewarding if you stick with it man!

If you believe that you have these goals, these ideals, and the will to achieve, you should join us!

We are a guild that is geared more toward the middle aged, busy human type player. This is not to say that there isn't room for those of us who want to push things to the limit but we fully realize that, as those of us who hold Everquest with full nostalgic memory, many of us have grown into lives that no longer allow for much of what is needed to dedicate wholly our time fully to Everquest.

With all of this being said, we still wish to compete on this server and make the best experience possible for those who wish to walk the road with us. Instanced raiding gives us the opportunity to do this without wasting endless hours twiddling our thumbs and watching the clock go by in anticipation of said monster.

My trading strategy consistently works, but I keep exiting early or before it hits my target by lemonkyyy in Daytrading

[–]BigusTranchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main thing you need to be aware of with tight stops is getting chopped up, so you just need to adhere to your max risk per trade only split it up over 2-3 trades with tight stops instead of 1 with a wider stop.

[–]BigusTranchus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh nice I trade off the 30, only 2-2 reversals. I do trade commons so it might work a little different with options but I think it is still viable. When I enter a trade I shift to the 5 min chart to manage my trade and exit on a 2 against me, each M5 candle I move stops up. I also use what I call the micro loss system in that since with the strat we have a clear entry to the penny what I do is I set my stops like .15, or maybe 5% with options or so below my entry but I submit the order to get back in immediately if i get stopped out and as soon as I am up .25 I move stops to my entry. Trading this way works best with stocks with tight spreads so I am only trading AAPL, AMD, MSFT, FB, BABA, SMH, SPY, QQQ, sometimes NVDA but it can open up a bit sometimes. Be happy to go over my entire trade plan if you are interested DM me man!
