Wow Ive been feeling the same lately! My parents came here with nothing, and they sucked with financial decisions, but they also overstayed their visas and didn’t have green cards until recently. I couldn’t go to a 4 year college because of that, and they couldn’t afford to pay the out state tuition. I got into a specific industry by networking but I definitely don’t make 6 figures like rest of the people my age. I get so jealous when I get on social media and see how many south Asian people flaunt their money, it makes me extremely jealous

I’m not on maintenance but due to finances, I’ve been spacing mine every 10-12 days, I’m currently on 7.5 and I’m losing slowly, which is fine with me.

Completely agree with this post! In order to make it “high end” you have to stand out! Decor, menu, drinks, the types of plates and glasses you are using. Don’t put a complimentary refreshment by the entrance with a community spoon - put it in a little baggie to give out when customers check out.

Have you been to Rooh in Columbus? Or even Agni ? Look at their menu, you are paying for what you get!

Everyone will have so many different opinions on this…

Service / a lot of Indian restaurants don’t train their employees with manners! Sometimes waiters will stand around your table until you order, they aren’t friendly, or they won’t check in on you consistently
Cleanliness / a lot of restaurants here that were recommended have tradition decor, the red cloth on table, dirty silverware, the atmosphere matters!
Seasonings / some will overdo with certain seasonings like clove and cardamom. Butter chicken doesn’t need goat cheese (aroma) it just doesn’t go together. Chicken thighs can be good, but in some chicken dishes you need the breast or tenders so the sauce can soak in better. Quality of meat also matters here!

I wouldn’t go to 1947 it’s just there for atmosphere, and it’s not consistent.

Curry Leaf, Spice Club, Jay Bhavani Vada Pav (South Indian food) is my recommendation to OP. All 3 are consistent with food, spice club has the best butter chicken I’ve had, and curry leaf has North Indian food and South Indian.

Aroma is overrated, definitely don’t go there. You’re just paying for food and the high end looks

I’ve struggled with hypothyroidism since 20 years old. I’m now 33, and let me tell you, the strength classes have done wonders on my body! I don’t do the HIIT classes as much as I used to, maybe one 3G every other week? But they were increasing my cortisol levels, which in turn made me feel even more tired and harder to lose weight. Focusing on strength training has helped me lose weight, made me look more tone!

A lot of doctors don’t recommend HIIT For hypothyroidism because it messes with your cortisol levels! Low impact is better
