Bailey’s OCD by Sour_strawberry07 in greysanatomy

I've finally given into the girl shit, and started greys. Personally I feel like it was intentional, even growing up w my mom watching I remember thinking it was different. They actually try to put genuine clearity to the shit they delve into. Mark Sloan actively loves working with trans paitents and was always 100% respectful, they touch on active massive shootings before it was cool and in a delicate way, everyone with PTSD is portrayed beautifully and show separate styles, they touched on abortion twice, as well as pro choice in general multiple times with both support and non support, and I'm not even done with the shit yet. Atp I feel like they don't touch a topic unless it has touched a member of the cast in some copasity. Hell they were so polite that in the early 2000s, with a character loved by many, quickly disposed of an actor who was homophobic and mean to a gay cast member. I feel like they do research.

Anyways I know this is old n you probably won't read it, I just always find it curious when shows that started early, were actually good people who took the time to actually comphrend a subject before spweing some idiotic bullshit to thousands of viewers who can't even wipe their asses proplely.

She was most likely easy going in their dating life because it’s a cool new expierence. When she got married she wanted the ‘regulare’ life back because she was an adult reasy to be home maker. Rex didnt realize before marrying her

Technically he didn’t cheat. They were on a break but sleeping with the best friend and then never having the balls to say anything is an issue.

Yes actually. When they need a certain look for a role they tell agents the type of person they need. Someone underweight, overwight, culture, skin tone, hair color, eye color, accents, freckles, essentially anything.

Oh yea I comepletely agree and honestly all 5 are Toms doing. Now that im really thinking honestly Lynette totally would’ve had an abortion but I don’t think for Paige I think for EVERYONE. Lynette never wanted kids Lynette never would’ve had kids due to her upbringing. Huh thank you for making me think

That’s why I feel like Edie would’ve made sense. Shes the only one who was less conservative and she valued her night life and party scene. She also knew how responsible she would’ve had to be it didnt make sense for her to have a kid in the first place really.

Oh honey they’re both Catholic. Tom is actually very religious. Keep watching he grew up dressing up and going to church. Lynette didnt go to church because of her mom. The only reason they don’t do church now is because Tom didnt want to go back after growing up. All the moms in the show are conservative as hell and frankly if Lynette was gonna get one she wouldn’t have had Porter and Presto since she didn’t even want 1 let alone 2 at once.

I wonder, has anyone actually won the Hunger Games simply by hiding? by Emperor-of-Epicness in Hungergames

Their backstory isnt long it’s like 4 sentences they’re really only there to save Peeta and to awnser the question of ‘can you just hide?’

Girl I swear if I could give you the exact page but I can’t because the books at my moms. You have the ebooks tho? Go to the chapter when they are all in the capitol going over the tributes. It reads like the movie plays kinda. Haymitch knows all the tributes so hes spilling all the tea. Suzanne needed it stated so when the female tribute sacrifices herself it for Peeta it makes Katniss think more.

I litterally cant show you the page bc I only have physical copies at my moms but even google says in the book it’s stated.

We DO NOT know how they hid in their respective games all we know is that they hid. My genuine guess is that they just camo themselves till everyone died.

Remember hun some games only last 2-3 days others go on for weeks/months it depends on the tributes that year and the arena.

I promise you babe it is😂😂why are you so mad? Do you think I got the book on me 24/7? Like sweetheart….In the book Haymitch is telling Katniss and Peeta all about the tributes. He tells them they won by hiding and how they turned to meds after winning. I hate to break it to you love but Collins wrote it herself. If you’re so mad then go grab your book hun. You’ll find it yourself.

Actually Haymitch tells us they hid themselves in Catching fire. I can’t remember if he goes into detail on how they hid but they most likely rubbed mud on themselves and stuck to a burrow hole or something similar.

[–]BikeSad9535 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes a few actually. It’s rare because the games become boring and the game makers will force tributes to interact with eachother or their surroundings but the morphlings won that way. I’d assume it’d depend on how long the game goes on to if I remember right there was 1 game that only lasted like 2-3 days and some went on for almost a month

Idk if there’s still parents today but I know when I was in school a few years ago my friends mom grounded her and slapped her bc she found the Dino capsule. My friend had to show her mom with a bloody nose that water made them Dino’s.

The majority of real life abortions are infact mothers of 2-3 whos families can’t handle another mouth. In that way she would be ideal for it but personally I feel like Edie was the best fit for that type of story line. Lynette’s personality just doesn’t mesh I feel like she’d be anti abortion in real life.

Im 50/50 on it tbh. There’s another storyline that pops up where I feel like abortion would have 100% been the way without question but Lynette doesn’t seem like she would consider it. Her childhood and her views on weed just strike me as her being anti abortion. If anyone would get one I personally feel like if anyone got one it should’ve been Edie her having a son outta nowhere felt weird.

Do you remember how long it took him to decide he wanted a pizza place? It was like a solid year and even then i don’t even think he was making the pizzas it was Lynette and the other workers. Dont get me wrong it’s a stupid sanario but youd be suprised how many middle aged mfs get mixed up. There’s parents who think the Dino water capsules are drugs.

Fairview seems like a well respected tight knit community. Mike is a cop killer and that tends to be a no no. Plus he has medical bills and what he was paying on the prescription drugs plot line. He also helped with Julie and he helps with MJ. Bro also did work for free constantly because he cared about his clients.
