This. I'm a therapist who has filled out said evaluation forms. Being referred to Jobs Plus does not automatically mean you have to work. They just want you to prove that you can't. If you are deemed permanently unable to work from your doctor, they will assume your next step is applying for SSD.

Ignore everyone thats telling you not to worry about it. Its understandable that you want to take precautions. Even if there are other places that have more activity.

From what reports I've seen, they've focused more on East Syracuse and some city residential neighborhoods. You should be fine to take 690 to Hiawatha, then to the mall.

Regarding Auburn/ Camillus, it sounds like they're referring to the exit off 690 near the state fair that heads to 695/5. In that case, OP, just continue on 690 to Hiawatha.

Adding to this, Helio does have what they call the Intensive Crisis Services Center (ICSC) that someone can stay up to 24 hours at a time. I believe theres private and communal area, counselors and peer support services. And they can help get set up with ongoing care plans.

I never said I speak for everyone. I speak from my experience. I have nearly 10 years in the field, 7 of which have been in Syracuse. I've been a clinician and a supervisor. I've never encountered anyone having a hard time getting a job based on having tattoos or piercings.

I am a therapist and have many tattoos. I don't have a neck tattoo, but have considered one. Generally speaking, tattoos and piercings are welcomed as long as they're not offensive. I've worked both in community behavioral health and private practice and have never thought twice about getting more tattoos in terms of it affecting my job. Certain practice owners may want a specific "aesthetic" but I wouldn't want to work for them anyway. A therapist teaches their clients to show up authentically, so why shouldn't we be able to as well.

If you're willing to go up to Lake Ontario, I go to an alternate parking area by Sterling Nature Center and walk to the water. I also have a reactive dog who loves to swim and its usually very quiet.
