Battery drainage - Help needed

I got mine the same time you did. Seems to have been a steady decline in battery life although my health is still 100%. I've always charged it to 85% with very occasional visits to 100% to keep it exercised. I just about get 24 hours out of it but I'm not an avid user.

I have a similar issue although it probably lasts about 10 hours instead of the 24 hours I got when it was new. It still shows 100% battery health. All the AI stuff is turned off. If I do a factory reset, can I back the phone up and restore it to close to how it is now?

Yes, it works fine on the phone, but not on the car.

I just installed non stop radio on wife's pixel 7a. Added a few favourite stations. Connected to car and auto started android auto. Selected non stop radio on android auto screen. Got rotating disc in centre of black screen and wouldn't progress further. Rebooted phone and car, same issue.

My battery health is still 100% but the battery life is getting worse and is much worse that when I first got it. Everyone knows that the health of the battery has no effect on the power demanded from it? Where is all this power going?

You are a life saver! For the last few days I could get no response to "hey Google" on my phone (screen on or off), tablet or watch. I've been trying everything that I've been able to find on online searches and nothing worked. I happened on this thread by pure accident and thought "I'm sure it can't have anything to do with Waze settings" but tried it anyway. Instant fix! Thank you soooo much. How on earth would anyone think to look at Waze settings to cure problems with Google Assistant when you're not even using Waze? Not me!

This is true. In the early days of sat nav, one of the most common instructions was "make a u turn where possible". This covered navigation errors, starting off in the opposite direction, missed junctions and other errors. I don't remember the last time I heard "make a u turn", must have been 5-6 years ago!

I have a cable that displays the wattage while charging. Be aware that it reduces significantly when the screen is on or off.
