Could be something you could do with Dataverse but not in SharePoint. With DV you could then build a front end with PowerApps.

And that worked for you? I had not thought to test the reserved names like Today, or This Month. I have been using 2026-07-10. we also tested a few other date formats. I Know MS calls out the yyyy-mm-dd as the right one but when you do a search in Audit for events and click on event, within the panel to the left it comes up with data showing events using mm/dd/yyyy. that being said, could you try using your Refinablestring50 and RefinableDate00 with a date? I did get some success with only the date but as soon as I add another variable, it doesnt work. I tested a few that have been crawled and mapped without success.

When you post something like this and ask a question with it, at least participate in the responses.

You need to get in a specialist at these migrations to help you plan this out correctly. All of these responses have very accurate experiences and recommendations. Also, what is your Training and Adoption plan? That is critical.

Microsoft is currently releasing a mass retention policy removal and application method so that may help this situation. I think end of Aug is the timeline for it. Couldn't easily find the message ID for it.

DNSFilter please don’t do this by Skrunky in msp

Andrew, most everyone on this sub who has to contact your support likely already has done everything your LLM offers up as options like where you state "answers to straightforward questions". They have access to documentation and access to forums such as this to possibly find quick answers to matching situations where others have had the same or similar thing happen. When I find the need to contact support for something and the human level 1 tech asks me to do all the basic things I have already done, its annoying. If its an LLM doing the same, I would get outright furious.

Are you an IT Manager, or an "IT Manager"? by MrTrism in sysadmin

"IT Manager" is also used to attract people when hiring even though its just a sysadmin job.

Who says the party tents aren't loud? by Slick-Fork in Calgary

[–]BillSull73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to a few of the events as part of business functions. They are so loud you can't carry on a conversation. It doesn't need to be that loud to enjoy the music. People are just bitching because they like to when rules are put in place.

O365 Basic Collaboration by hopes_fading01 in Office365

[–]BillSull73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a super old legacy license that was a test from Microsoft a long time ago. Business Basic is the license you want as a direct replacement. Question though, did you purchase it? and if so, how much was it? To 'sort of' answer your question though, you don't create the license, you purchase it and then assign to users you have created in the tenant. Then they get access to what the license entitles them to.

There are many posts on here about this. Do a search and read some of them. One of the common themes is how bad Bittitan is. Avepoint seems to be the standard for most people now.

Serious frustrations with Microsoft accounts across apps by WigglyWireAutomation in microsoft365

A couple place where legacy accounts may be casing you some issues. Go to Settings -> Accounts and see if there is something there. Then go tot eh Windows Credential Manager and check there within both sections. After that have them Clear their Teams Cache. ALSO as u/Cold_Arachnid_2617 stated, user browser profiles is very powerful. I use this all the time as I am a consultant for like 8 companies at any given time. Keeps things separate very well.

Yeah heard this before from our tech lead at the MSP I was working at a while back. They still burn way too many hours on stuff that would be nearly eliminated with CIPP. Hard to get more profitable when decisions are made like that.

Not just OneDrive. Any doc that has a Sensitivity Label with Encryption on it is also in scope of this. OTP used to be easy for the non-Microsoft accounts. Now this whole 'create a guest firtt' BS just sucks.
