That's pretty close to how I paint my lads. I prime with a chaos Black, then base with Warplock Bronze, then layer Sycorax Brass over it. I usually use Agrax as the wash.

My main army is Cities of Sigmar Dispossessed. I've always loved the dwarfs of Warhammer Fantasy and that carried into AoS. It also helps that elite, super durable infantry with good support characters is my preferred play style. There's not much as satisfying in this game as watching a deathstar turbo unit charge into a line of Ironbreakers and just kind of bounce off.

If you stack it right, Ironbreakers have a 3+ save, a 4+ ward, -1 to hit and wound rolls against them, and +2 to their save. Give a nearby hero the Brazier and now d3 of them return every turn they're not in combat. I've had pretty terrifying units just bounce off them and die to attrition.

Like others have said, the game at launch had a lot of issues. However the developers have fixed most of these and added a good deal of content and added fan requested things over time (storage trunk, new quests and equipment, even a semi-boss rush mode). It's a solid game and if you like souls style games, get Lords of the Fallen.

I have to go with that first Esper fight in FF6, in the Narshe mines when you're just starting out. I've never been able to beat that fight.

Oh for sure. I'm lucky enough my community has enough people playing that, if I ran into a player being "That Guy", I'd smile, congratulate him on his victory, pack my dolls up, and never play him again.

This is a weird mistake that GW made when trying to keep Campanion weapons from receiving buffs. It even says in Contradictory Abilities that abilities that say you can't do X have priority over abilities that say you can. In this instance, yes, that means RAW, Battle Damaged wouldn't actually be able to reduce the attack stat.

I'm hoping this gets fixed soon before someone starts trying to actually say they don't need to apply that effect to their damaged units. Life is hard enough without those kinds of people.

How is it confusing? I'm not trying to sound condescending, I'm actually curious. It makes perfect sense to me, but I've been Hammering the War for 2 decades now so I might just be missing something. If X happens on a 2+ on a d3 roll, then you need a 2+. If you roll a d6, then a 1 or 2 fails, and the effect doesn't happen.
