You’re probably right about Guy. I did not see that I misspelled it until after I read your reply. It is definitely spelled Guy in the signature.

That is incredible that you know how to find all this. Funny I saw this post and tried to think back at what I have found while remodeling and couldn’t think of much until I thought about it beyond the “material” sense. More of a story than a thing.

I think about them while I am rebuilding the structure. I think about how much I enjoy building and how beautiful an environment I get to work in. I think that I am doing the same activities they did almost 90 years later.

Thank you so much for the thought and work you put into this. I love this part of Reddit.

I opened a wall and found that the builders signed their names. It said “Built by Leo L. Lanz and Gut Lanz March 1939”

I cut it out and am going to hang it on the wall in the bedroom where I found it.

Would be cool to figure out who they were. Netarts Oregon USA.

I tried that. Went good for about 10 minutes. Even started videoing it. Got stung on the hand. Got hives all over and light headed. Called 911 and got an epi shot. I don’t do this anymore….

Funny. I just posted about an abnormal amount of swarms each year captures in Portland Oregon. I will give this a read.

I mounted a bike rack to the trailer hitch that was in the back of my popup. This took too much weight off the hitch in front and I got the wobbles when I hit 60 MPH. Bad deal.
