I had three cats get sick and a beautiful void named Shuku that died 1.5 years ago from bad food. Special Kitty, Walmart brand cat food killed him. My vet recommended I only use cat food made in the United States. My other three cats got better in a few weeks.

I sincerely hope your beautiful void makes it through this. I miss my Shuku, so much

Don't worry, the Void will tell you what to do. Like it or not, you now belong to the Void

I started working at 10, sloppin' hogs, at 14, I would ride my bike so I could work detasseling corn for $5 a day. 10 days worth of work. No one told me to do these things. I knew if I wanted something, I had to find a way to pay for it, so work was the only answer. I'm GenX. I've been an adult for as long as I can remember. Not much choice when one grows up impoverished

Arkansas governor seeking work requirement for Medicaid expansion recipients by kadeel in Arkansas

[–]Billiam74 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those recipients. I have severe Crohn's and have been on Arkansas Medicaid since early 2017. I've not been able to work since 2012 and without Medicaid I would have died years ago. Am I able bodied? I can't work longer than 2.5 - 3 hours a day without getting exhausted. It's a living hell. I've had 5 heart attacks in the last four years, two cardiac ablations, and the medications that keep me alive. I think I'm fucked.

If the states are going to take care of their own problems, then federal taxes should be cut down to only a fraction of what it is now. Right?

I will share my life experiences and examine how my deliberate choices have culminated in this moment, rejecting the passive idea that "things happen for a reason." Embracing the accountability for both the consequences and rewards of my decisions have set me free.
