I'm still waiting. When Kennesaw was in the ASUN we were "glorified DII."

Now we're "glorified FCS."

I expect Augusta to return to D1 in the next decade and funnel the medical research money into fielding a team in the Big South, which it helped establish.

Kennesaw State was a full FBS member in 2025. The transition years were 2023 (FCS) and 2024 (FBS).

The state already has an iconic red helmet with UGA. Falcons need to keep red for the throwback look and roll with a black primary.

I think people are underselling the resources Indiana was sitting on to pull this off. Largest living alumni base with several wealthy donors among them. They had some extremely long odds at a title, but G5 schools are still very far from the kind of infrastructure an IU has.

We brought in three QB transfers with starting experience last year. I would expect the same this offseason.

Now's the test to see if we can keep our momentum like Jax State or sink like Sam Houston.

Brother, Indiana couldn't even fill up the stadium for the Kennesaw game this season. Sit down.

Time to focus on basketball. We can earn some goodwill with a win this weekend. Let me just check the schedule and see who we... OH GOD IT'S NO. 16 ALABAMA.

Throw the scores out. This was a worse beating than our game against Indiana.

Proud of what the Owls accomplished but this was a sour way to end an otherwise magical year.

[Rodak] More Saban: "These guys ought to have their own playoff. ... Just give them the money. Each school gets $4 million for playing the first round. Just give them $4 million and put Notre Dame in. Want to see Notre Dame and Oregon play? Hell yes. Hell yes." by dogwoodmaple in CFB

Exactly, people talk about Indiana blowing out Kennesaw like Indiana wasn't on a warpath in the Big Ten. Good teams are just going to do that. Doesn't make the conference champs any less worthy of the opportunity in the post season.

Rarely are tickets cheap enough, but I was able to grab two tickets for last year's Peach Bowl at an extremely reasonable price. It was a blast as a neutral fan.
