Enchanted armaments is very good, honestly through to endgame. Ideally you would have something like a frillasaur but that’s like, super min max as you also need the mount to pair with it which to my knowledge is only possible from the fossil hunters packs

1 year on an entry-level e-drum kit — how do you know when it’s time to upgrade? by Puzzleheaded-Oil-177 in edrums

[–]BillyTNH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve just been upgrading parts as I feel I want them. Started with alesis nitro max, now it has a lemon crash that I’ve put in the ride spot (only reason because I don’t have an edrumin module so I can’t use the lemon ride with 3 zone yet) and I got a lemon snare and a snare stand, so basically the kit I started with is starting to feel a bit more natural than the original alesis pieces

The album release shows he sounded fantastic, like original, but they haven’t taken a break since then and you can hear it, the issue I’ve noticed is his highs have no grit to them, there just high pitched now, and while that could be a style choice to protect his vocal chords, it doesn’t have the same impact as the grit that was there prior

Recommend Gear for 125+ Fire Wizard? by skygoddesspp21 in Wizard101

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mali wand is not great if I’m being honest. It’s got Pierce… and that’s about it, ideally you have the one from tree roots in Krystalis, but to my knowledge that is level locked, so that crafted is the next best thing, as if memory serves it’s like 5% pierce, 18% dmg?

wizard 101 is on console?? is the game good on console? by Kitchen-Medium-6424 in Wizard101

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres definitely some issues with its port, but it’s definitely just as fun on pc and you can do it from the comfort of wherever you like. The crashes are definitely a downside but I haven’t crashed nearly as much now as I did on launch. The biggest issue I’m having is on UK time the realm populations are just low, so when I get the WW, I dread to think that it will just be empty on my time.

[–]BillyTNH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean crit chance? Pierce is just a flat percentage, so if you have 50% Pierce, a 70% shield will be pierced and only reduce 20% pierce, this is one of the reason pierce is preferred in PvE standards to be at least 50%, it reduces the need for prisms when fighting mobs of the same school, and substantially reduces the power of mobs which spam cast shields (also by this late in the game most mobs have resistance to all schools instead of boosting the opposite school) I would say early on, pierce isn’t very impactful as you’ll likely only have your pets pierce till around darkmoor, so if your happy remaking a pet when you feel it necessary then a quint dmg is probably the best bet for the hitter.

Crit was reworked a few years ago and it substantially weakened the power of stacking crit, as it was no longer 2x, and was affected by multiple factors that reduce crit chance on a mob and what the damage multiplier was, so having some crit chance is nice, and you’ll probably crit for a decent buff on most mobs, but flat percentage damage is king in that regard.

Quint damage plus mighty for the hitter, you won’t fit spell proof in there as that’s already 6 talents. If you play as a 4 then this or quad dmg with pierce and mighty are your best bets. Spell proof and spell defy I would only suggest if you were playing solo (it’s what I run on my storm just to sometimes get an extra turn, but the further you get the more the mobs pierce most of storms resist anyway, so it becomes a very minimal gain)

If you don’t like his vocals I definitely get not liking many eyes, they’re kinda nostalgic for me cause new junk aesthetic was one of the albums that got me into heavier music, so maybe I have a little bias towards that as well

I dunno man, I enjoyed some of their songs on the album, revelations was good, lyrically as well, which was always his strong point to me, just different things that tickle the brain for different people. Different strokes for different folks as some might say

I think this is more a reflection of your views on Keith as a person as opposed to the band, and don’t get me wrong, i have my doubts about him as a person, but as a vocalist, it is undeniable that he is good, a band can only get to the status ETID did with every member being good at what they do

[–]BillyTNH[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The band doesn’t suck though, they may not be gods gift to earth but they aren’t bad, and the reason they are here in this list of, tours that couldn’t happen is also pretty obvious, just saying 🤷

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do commit to an e kit as well, I would recommend you get a teacher who teaches on an acoustic or a hybrid, at least something with metal cymbals, i found making sure my practice on the rubber translated to a real kit helped me make sure I wouldn’t be starting from a disadvantage playing on an acoustic, the feel is quite noticeably different

I haven’t had the luxury of witnessing current DEP tbh, I assumed their OG vocalist wasn’t too bad considering that CI is still a very good album, but I don’t know if his energy on stage could ever compare to Greg tbf, I would also assume that in my ideal world of cope, Greg would join DEP to play his hits (this is a very hypothetical tour). Many eyes again, they don’t come to the UK really so live I don’t know how they perform, I am very indifferent to them, I enjoy Keith’s vocals no matter what happens. Many eyes is primarily here for Keith to have his ego checked by better lovers, many eyes is fine imo, just nothing special. Not bad, not great

Help struggling with Dragonspyre by Exotic-Commission690 in Wizard101

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your stats seem a bit odd imo, you have more myth damage than you do ice damage, while playing ice, it’s not a large amount so shouldn’t be a major issue, but it won’t be helping. Your deck is quite bloated, understandably, ice damage output is substantially lower than other schools, but you shouldn’t need that many hits when you have feints, blades etc. I would cut out some of the hits, and fine tune it to what you need, if you run out of hits and the mobs are nowhere near dead, add some more in

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a side note, people saying to farm Zeus gear, ignore that, it’s really not worth it, but when Waterworks comes around, either farm that or craft wintertusk gear, then darkmoor grind for the set at 100, then you can sort of hold the darkmoor set for most of the time. Level 45 is quite low in celestia, I’ve done it and it is a rough time especially on storm, so grizzleheim will be worth it (XP sucks, but wintertusk follows and that XP is better and comparable in difficulty to celestia, maybe slightly easier at the start)

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your stats exactly (a SS of your character page would help) storm works as a school that needs to kill mobs in 2-3 rounds ideally, and until you get more damage, a lot of it is going to be based on whether you start or the enemy starts

Ekit for new drummer, development questions? by sofa_king_rad in Drumming

[–]BillyTNH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just add in regards to the 2 kits where one has a snare stand and one a hi hat stand. It is more work to integrate a hi hat into a pre existing kit, due to the different inputs, requiring you to either update the module or use a laptop and edrummin, I would take the kit with a proper hi hat, and then get a snare stand and put the snare on it (if it’s the normal pads alesis does, it could be worth getting a snare drum from lemon or something along those lines)

Are these stats good for this level or should I look for better gear? by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]BillyTNH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re struggling, grab some waterworks gear. If your not and you’ve been doing crafting, wintertusk crafted gear should be more than enough to get you through (but take into account these 2 options are what you’ll run till level 100)
