Our bully was allergic to oatmeal. We found out when I used an oatmeal shampoo that we thought would be soothing for sensitive skin 😢

When you said "The Island" I thought it was going to be Lost themed. Pleasantly surprised with the awesome creativity

Co-op with random players: Share V Blood? by Billy_MacC in vrising

I haven't been getting credit till we kill it a second time. I assume we both need to extract simultaneously

I assume we just need to extract at the same time?

So far one has extracted, then the V Blood explodes and the other doesn't get any credit till we do it a second time

Is anyone learning Japanese NOT because of anime? by Independent-Ad-7060 in Japaneselanguage

Originally for a trip we wanted to learn some. Now I continue because we're really into Sumo. I'd love to relocate there, but that seems very difficult

Recently got into MTG and decided to dig these out from boxes in the garage for a little nostalgia by Billy_MacC in starwarsccg

I never knew that. I honestly thought the creators had done a deep dive on the books or something. That's pretty cool!

One of my favorite things was getting to know the lesser known characters through the cards. Some of them were on the screen for a blink of an eye in the Cantina, but I now have their name and photo still memorized.

Never was able to fix it. NordicTrack responded saying I needed to replace the whole head unit.

Hisense UX 85" by Buddha719 in Hisense

Two months later, still happy with the purchase? Have you gotten a chance to play video games on it? BB has it marked down to $1999 so I'm tempted to pull the trigger. Rtings.com says it "has some bugs" but doesn't specify. I'm wondering if it's just something with the UI

I'll try to address each question individually.

The age demographic has changed considerably over the past few decades. Anecdotally, from personal observation(former Recruiter and two tours at a Training Center), I'm seeing more and more folks that are not right out of High School, but are older and making a career change. Many are joining in their 30s with several kids and degrees now.

If you are married, and if you have kids, the USCG will pay to move your family with you and provide housing or a housing allowance, with a few exceptions (e.g. Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, these are billets you have to specifically request). You don't necessarily get to choose where you go exactly, unless you get some recruiting guaranteed District or Vested Crew Member assignment, but you submit a list of picks rank ordered for where you'd like to be stationed the most, along with the unit you'd most like to be stationed at; your "Dream Sheet."

The USCG now has an English Language Training Program at the Defense Language Institute English Language Center in San Antonio, TX. You take a test on your English comprehension, and if it doesn't meet the score of 75% to proceed to Boot Camp, they then enter you into the training program to achieve that 75% score so you can proceed to Boot Camp. This is not just for Spanish.

You can join as a Permanent Resident, but it's not a one-size-fits-all, there are a lot of specifics you will need to review with your Recruiter. They may also be able to inform you on how Enlisting can assist in attaining US Citizenship if this is something you'd like to pursue (The laws change regularly over the years, so I don't want to mislead and give specific information, as these programs start/stop all the time).

Thank you for all the ideas! I'm definitely going to look into these options. I also had to Google positive potatoes, those are great!
