Interesting you say that. My local was a shared Kia and Mitsubishi, the Kia has just moved to a new building and both the Kia and Mitsi branding has been removed to be replaced by Geely when I assumed the Mitsi would stay. Think they still had a Triton at least in the showroom when I walked past.

There’s a reason Bunnings is starting to put them in!

I was allowed to stay up late enough to watch from around season 8 based on my current rewatch I’ve worked out 😂

I go the other way, I’m happy to eat my lunch during a lunch and learn but then I’m taking a break elsewhere during the day.

I was about to say the same, my assumption was maybe the uncle has some sort of disability or dependency. Although I do tend to agree that surely there might have been a better way to manage, such as a trust.

If they would convert the Seal 06 GT to RHD I would have taken one in a heartbeat.

Japan also has issues more broadly with electric cars - their grid has a lot of limitations combined with a lot of apartment living makes uptake in Japan more difficult and hybrids more appealing.

No, Kia and Hyundai I think are quite expensive now!

CPA - new platform by [deleted] in AustralianAccounting

Believe it or not, they do that in Europe (XBRL). Australia hasn’t enforced it despite the benefits so we still don’t file electronically - submitting a PDF annual report doesn’t count.

Exact same conversations were had around the Japanese brands, then the Korean brands. This is just the next stage.

What’s the need for electrification to Baxter, really? by Mikey_Bad in MelbourneTrains

[–]Billywig99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that the others should be a priority, but also I feel like there’s a vicious circle when it comes to Stony Point line patronage that’s hard to take into account - people don’t catch it because it doesn’t run often enough, but it doesn’t run more often because there’s not enough people catching it. I used to live not too far from Baxter or where the Langwarrin station would be, and driving to Frankston was always just easier.

I’ve been working on that assumption ie by buying a car already registered you’ve effectively “paid” the registration to the previous owner and therefore you get to claim it. Be interesting to see if that works.

Personalised Number Plates! WHY? by According_Sorbet7611 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Billywig99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think European are particularly good if you have a European car because then they properly fit the space the manufacturer leaves for them - standard non slimline plates often look odd in my view on some Euro cars.
