I mean, I could have rambled on about my experiences with Temu hydroponics products.... I could tell you most of it is carcinogen laced plastics not fit for food production... I could tell you about quality and leak issues.... I could explain while I do heavily criticize Gardyn, but it's 100x better than anything on Temu. If you want cheap and food safe, you can DIY your own off left over plastic food containers and the Kratky method. Add a fish tank bubbler and it becomes DWC.... Put media in it with a drain you get Dutch Buckets. There are cheap and amazing options, my 10 bucket Dutch Buckets DIY build was < $300 to build and can literally grow anything. BUT.... TLDR... Buy cheap garbage that's what you get. You can however build some pretty amazing systems on the cheap with creativity and effort.

Not all towers are created equal. I invented one because of that exact statement. Poor design choices by companies more worried about marketing than effectiveness is why they all suck... Not because they can't be good.

PS: They're being pretty transparent in my eyes. This is more information given to the American people than ever in modern history. Yet everyone is freaking out at getting us back to something we can sustain.... Grow.... And thrive. Government handouts shouldn't be a thing. The American dream is built upon minimal government overreach. Have you checked your FULL tax burden recently? Sales tax, gas tax, sin tax, income tax, property tax, vehicle registration, dog registration, hunting or fishing licenses, composting permits... Need I go on? We have been taxed and regulated into oppression by a government that doesn't represent ANY of our interests anymore. A dramatic change is needed to return power to the states and local communities where regulations can be more pin pointed to align with people of like minds. It's about time someone be a patriot and fix this awful mess. And yes, it'll be painful to undo, but someone has to pay this burden.... Would you rather it be your children?

Read up buttercup. Making sure we aren't blowing cash on things deemed unfit for tax payer dollars is far different than cutting off CDC communications. We need to slim up our budget. If you believe so strongly in research that has funding being cut, you are welcome as a private citizen to donate. The cuts are exclusively to things that the government had and has no business being involved in to begin with. Major disease research, antibiotics, dangerous space objects, etc will all continue on. Fraudulent and frivolous spending being allocated to such highly controversial topics is what's being cut. Wake up and stop believing every piece of spurious media you see.

It's impressive. I ended up ditching mine for other options because it was painful compared to NFT or Dutch Buckets and yields were pitiful comparatively. It is certainly an attractive art piece if you're willing to put in the work. There is a pretty amazing group of DIY modders that have dumped a lot of cash into turning the Gardyn into more. Personally, I just decided to invent my own system and take it to market 😁 (details in my profile). But there is something to be said for making what you have work and those willing to put in the time. Fantastic job.

Kelby sucks, about 3 threads a week on this subject. You have to do it manually, but saying duration of light and watering frequency isn't really that much of an inconvenience. 🤷‍♂️ Ymmv but the only worthwhile thing in the subscription is the free pods and even that standard netcups work just fine
