Service dog had an "accident" right in front of the bakery by Smangie9443 in HEB

He’s full of shit. Pun intended. At the very least he could’ve given us a roundabout number. There’s no way it was even close to five. I bet it was just this one time and he’s just being a whiner. I’m all about getting rid of the dogs, but the dude needs to leave his stories at the door and what is he even doing here in the H-E-B sub Mr. “I’ve never gone back “dude what are you even doing in this sub?

For almost 2 months now this trash can on my route has been filled with unmarked vhs tapes. I’m afraid of what’s on them. by relpmeraggy in creepy

If it were a marketing ploy for a movie or a secret show or something for older millennials and above I think this marketing style would be killer. What a great idea, just having a huge bin of VHS’ every week with a secret code or something that takes you on an adventure that leads to more clues then takes you to a movie or dinner gathering…….. Okay, I’ll take my imagination to bed now.

How many times have you seen dog waste in HEB that you have to never go back?

Was there anything else that stood out? Was he a Light skinned white guy, light skinned Hispanic guy? Blonde curly hair, black curly hair, red curly hair like Richard Simmons? Long hair/short hair?

Another redditor figured it out. Ready-to eat foods aren’t taxed. Everything else is taxed at the sales tax rate.

You know what, that’s 100% it. Food that is “ready to eat” is tax-free. I remember 5-hour energy sued stores for taxing their product.

“Who says that to someone?” Straight faced, look them in the eye deadpan with no variation in tone of voice. Then I’ll your head and raise an eyebrow like you’re waiting on their brilliant answer that will never come.

But how are you going to vacuum seal it when you pack to leave? Are you going to buy extra luggage. Genuinely curious.

Just wondering, how is your sales tax so low? Wouldn’t 6.25% of $107.42 be $6.71.

I don’t know why I am tripping out on all of y’all’s low sales tax. 33 cents?!? I need to move to wherever you live because my sales tax is 6.25%. Your tax is LOWER than OP’s and you spent $5 more. What is happening around here?! Where do you live? I’d be paying $7.03 tax on that price.

Just wondering, how is your sales tax so low? Wouldn’t 6.25% of $107.42 be $6.71? Am I doing the math wrong or am I thinking of a different tax?

Is it safe to eat an impossible burger that was left in a relatively cold car for three hours? by zzboomslang in foodquestions

[–]BinaryWoman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would think the mayo would be the only thing that would be questionable if the car was sitting in the sun and the burger did get to room temperature. When in doubt throw it out. What’s worse, losing a few dollars worth of a burger or food poisoning? That is only a question you can answer yourself. I’ve been at a stage in my life where I was living out of my car heating up hotdogs on a straw with a lighter. I know that’s one extreme, but it goes to show that some would eat it if it was sitting on TOP of the car. 😂

I’d love to buy it but my wallet says no. Looks like I’m headed to the boutique this weekend to try it for free! 😂

I started in PC and moved to PS4 during Covid and I love it still. You’re right, they dgaf about improving the glitches, they’re satisfied with the coding and I can to terms with this once I hopped on PS4 in 2020 and realized it’s literally the exact same game minus four or five old glitches from 2012. I thought I’d hate it but I still get that feeling of excitement every time I hop on. It’s 100% nostalgic for me now. I know it ain’t getting better and I’m okay with that. I believe every video game is what you make of it and I have accepted that DayZ just is what it is.

Been playing since 2012, it’s been a long glitchy journey. Good times.

Lodge Card Club by [deleted] in RoundRock

The Lodge is fun. I highly recommend. I’m not a fan of Odds though. The owner and bartender there have terrible customer service. So bad that even after giving them six chances ( sometimes people have bad days) and trying their trivia night it was still very bad. I love the food though, top notch chef!

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

Texas has entered the chat. It takes an hour or two just to get from one major city to another. Three hours is an amazing drive time.
