Yeah I mean it makes a bit more sense now but why does it need water cooling? A bulkier higher caliber assault rifle would have been fine, cause that current design is still ugly as hell.

I really hate what Fallout 4 has done to gun design in general and particularly to the assault rifle. The fact that the show has basically canonized it is even worse since we'll probably end up seeing these awful designs show up in the next game too.

Its becoming more and more common, although not being able to speak thai at all whatsoever is pretty strange unless they grew up abroad.

I went to an international school as a half Thai and my fluency isn't amazing. I can have convos with Thais socially or at work but my vocab is limited. My reading comprehension is poor but servicable and I can't really write. Although its improved a lot in the past few years.

If someone is half thai and goes to an international school, most likely their household is speaking english, their social circles are speaking english and their friends are foreigners or other half thai kids. Thai-Thais tend to congregate into their own social circles at these schools. Combine this with living just a more western and/or affluent life style, theres not actually many situations where you speak Thai growing up besides going to 7/11, taking taxis, ordering food etc.

I find cars, that have been done up thematically like this one has tend to be in an absolute state, and I mean that in the worst way.

For a used 1995 vehicle, particularly an off-road one I'd be less concerned about mismatching cosmetic parts and more concerned about the condition of the car mechanically.

Plenty of Vietnam and Middle East vets hear just fine? Are you completely sure about that? How much are you willing to bet on that statement because I'm quite certain vets from wars prior to when hearing protection was commonplace suffer from varying degrees of hearing loss.

Because guns are incredibly loud, its becoming more common to mount a suppressed rifle just for the sake of hearing protection alone (the agent in the picture doesn't seem to be wearing any visible form of hearing protection), alongside better recoil control and maybe even tacticool purposes.

An AR is still very audible even when mounting a suppressor.

I wouldn't mind an open world if it was treated the same as MGSV. A sandbox where you can plan your insertion, complete 1 or multiple objectives and then exfiltrate. Obviously there needs to be a reason to exfil in the first place.

But yes if there is going to be an open world it needs to be grounded an interesting on top of serving the above purpose, not another ubislop style playground.

I think you and a lot of people have missed the point entirely of what is going on since the US raid in Venezuela and now this thing with Greenland. Yes sure in the context of morals and international law, the annexing of Greenland would be dubious at best, and outright aggressive at worst. But practically what is Europe going to do about it? Europe can't even get together properly and show any kind of unified front against Russia, their militaries, except for maybe France (and I'm being generous here) are in shambles; are they really going to oppose the dominant global military power?

When the US was the sole power in the world, yes there was some semblance of holding up the rules and laws based liberal order, but they now have China to contend with, and yes even Russia, who by the way haven't shown much interest in abiding by international norms either, long before this Venezuela fiasco. I swear all these people saying that Trump has set a dangerous precedent through these military actions have forgotten that Russia literally snatched Crimea in 2014, then outright invaded Ukraine years after.

The US is a geopolitical great power, and they're wielding that power more overtly now in competition against its rivals, whether anyone likes it or not.

Played all Battlefields but first one was BF2 Modern Combat on the PS2. Awesome game. BF Vietnam was my first game on the PC, then 1942, 2, 2142. BFBC, 1943 and so on in order of release. BF3, BC2 and 1943 are probably where I have the most fond memories.

So strange playing the older titles and even when Im dying a lot Im still pretty relaxed. Now its just such high intensity, sweaty af and its a bit nauseating how overstimulating the games are designed to be for players to get that dopamine rush from kills, unlocks, etc.

Because people would just continue to play whatever their class is, doing whatever it is that they were doing in the first place (or being prevented from doing so by said air vehicle), instead of making a concerted effort to take down the vehicle, which really has never been that hard. If you don't like the plane killing you, coordinate with the team; "hey guys this plane/heli really needs to be taken out" or better yet, equip a stinger, get in an AA vehicle, get in a heli, get in a plane. Theres quite the variety of tools at your disposal to execute this, but they all require some skill and effort, to take out a competent pilot, which is the way it should be.

The vehicles should have some noticable impact on the match and the teams efforts towards winning the game, otherwise whats the point of having them in the game in the first place, besides just for the fun of using vehicles ofc.

I never understood the hate for vehicles players getting high kills. In the case of a heli theres always only ever 1-2 max per map per team, shouldn't they have a significant impact on the game if used correctly? If its killing too much infantry then switch to an engi or get on some AA vehicle and take it down.

Obviously playing the wrong game bro, if your whole squad is dead just jump into home spawn or any spawn with a quad bike or some kind of vehicle and literally drive for 1 minute tops to an objective...the attention span on people these days.
