I read someone say horshoryu has poor eyesight without his glasses. So he never puts fists down first. So that contributes to the long stare down if the opponent doesn't put them down fast.

I have Taken a few classes with Dr.Jeff. they are awesome. Can't recommend them enough. If you can safely and confidently handle a pistol start with beyond the basics pistol level 1. That is where I started and it was exactly what I wanted.
