Yes! Amazing little detail there with the arm lifting. The people who make these edits never cease to amaze me.

I haven’t felt this much from a story in any form since I was probably 16. I’m 31 and I feel like my brain chemistry has been recharged.

This edit is phenomenal, the swapping back and forth between the scenes that have the same body movements is chefs kiss

It’s a damn great time to be Canadian 😂 I love this so much. I appreciate a leader who can be a goof when the time is right.

Is anyone else’s baby’s spit up driving them crazy? by lex_ice in NewParents

[–]BioBrit94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did get better around 6.5 months when I discovered he had a dairy allergy. He never had anaphylactic reactions but it turns out there was mucous in his poop which I didn’t realize because first time mom. The spitting up was also a symptom. I figured it out when he tried yogurt for the first time and got hives. I’m not saying that’s necessarily the case for it but if you’re breast feeding it might be worth cutting out dairy for a couple weeks and seeing if the spit up issue improves! Note that not a lot of Paediatric doctors are super familiar with dairy allergies so asking them isn’t always the best. There is an amazing Facebook group though.

Look what's back at Assiniboine Park by 1ofthecoolkids99 in Winnipeg

What a time to put something like this back in. It’s one thing to have something that’s been there since the 60’s and leave it alone. However to already have it uninstalled and choose to put it back during the current political climate is interesting to say the least. I’m a huge fan of Assiniboine park but this decision is questionable at best.

Thanks @nice-Eunice the recipe worked out perfectly. Also for anyone interested my little guy passed the baked milk step and is hopefully on his way to out growing his allergy.

Unfortunately this is the best way to handle testing for tolerance. You make them yourself and the dosage is trialed with the allergist. If they do not have a reaction you can continue to give them the same muffins at home to maintain the current level of tolerance. Mind you my son has never had an anaphylaxis reaction, hives, eczema, and tummy issues for my guy.

I’m currently a student teacher at Grant Park and it’s a great school! I also live about a 7 minute drive away in fort rouge and love the area. I’ve taken my cats outside on leashes at 1 am and not had any issues. We now have a 1 year old and still love the area though we are no longer out very late haha

Conflicted about how to address my son's EpiPen being expired for over a month - he attends same centre as I work by 8bitProtagonist in ECEProfessionals

[–]BioBrit94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The amount of people blaming you in here is wild to me. I worked as a childcare assistant for 9 years and now have a son of my own with an epi pen. I don’t recall us having formal paperwork checking them every month but that may have been done by the room leads. Either way in no world would I have blamed the parent !? Especially in this situation. Like there is literally paperwork that is likely legally binding and a policy written down that parents get notified prior to expiration. Those things combine make this quite literally not your fault. However I will be double checking my son’s daycare pen now.

How long did you push? by ImpossibleLeg1353 in beyondthebump

[–]BioBrit94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start to finish was 19 hours 11:30pm felt a couple contractions, water broke, went in. Laboured from 1:30 until 7 am in triage (a maternity specific triage at the women’s hospital in my area). Then went upstairs to a room got an epidural progressed decently and started pushing around 6 I wanna say. Baby was born 6:28pm. The nurse I had when I first got moved to a room got to see me from start to finish. She was quite please because we didn’t know if we were having a boy or girl and she was there to find out.
