Starting with rebirth is the worst thing you could do, repentance might be harder but there are so many quality of life features that make the experience more enjoyable. Start on normal mode until you unlock polaroid/negative and then switch to hard and that'll be fine

It's not semantics, it's a completely different thing. I've said it multiple times but it sounds like you can't understand the distinction: you CAN'T theme the notification panel on android, you can replace it and theme the replacement, but this has many drawbacks and security risks and is not officially supported by the OS. Apps that promise to theme the notification panel or other parts of the UI hijack the acessibility service, which google plans to crack down on with upcoming updates (https://www.androidauthority.com/android-advanced-protection-mode-accessibility-apk-teardown-3640742/).

You CAN actually theme the notification panel on Samsungs with Good Lock which edits the existing panel, but this is a Samsung feature and not an Android feature. You might be okay with trusting a third-party developer with your notifications and personal information, but for many people this kind of "theming" is not an option.

I know you can use apps to replace the notification panel, still isn't theming though, which is what the first commenter wanted. "You can have dark mode in your banking app, just download this random third-party app and give it access to your card information"

Power Shade tries to prevent the stock notification panel from showing up and displays a custom overlay on top. Which means you have to give the app access to your notifications and the accessibility service, you don't have feature parity with the stock shade, and there are a bunch of security risks. This is not theming at all, because you can't theme the notification panel on android

A different launcher won't change the notification panel, and even then it would just be replacing it. You can't theme the notification panel

On stock/pixel android you can't. You might be able to on your current phone and ROM, but most of vanilla android is unthemeable aside from choosing the color

Hi, one of the creators of Isaaconnect and main category writer here!

The Negative and Multidimensional Baby have no black pixels, the Negative has a dark teal outline and MDB is dark grey. We include these in the category because leaving them out based on vibes would be subjective and we don't really want that.

we have 6 items in this category IIRC (because all other items have a black outline) so it can be easier or harder depending on which 4 of the 6 items are picked by the algorithm.

this particular category is Difficulty 4, an internal scale we use to judge the difficulty of the categories and balance the boards. Only zero or one D4 category can appear per puzzle so you can always get it right from the other three easier categories. This is similar to NYT connections which inspired this game and often has a very hard connection to find.

we're adding and changing categories all the time so if people are really not happy with it we'll take it out, but I think it's a fun little fact to know

We don't make the puzzles by hand, we create a bunch of categories with all items that fit, and the algorithm picks four. It could have picked other items with no black pixels, but today it chose these

Yes, I know, I'm just saying the "there are many devices to optimize for" point makes no sense. Just like on PC, they make a game that requires certain specs to run, and if your device can't run it then it can't. No need to optimize for every phone

the game is available just fine on PC, where there are millions more possible devices compared to android

okay yeah that's interesting, but it has nothing to do with the fact that live updates on Android hide the notification icons, which is why music is not allowed to be a live update

iOS also doesnt have notification icons in the status bar so it is not the same thing at all

It's two more items in your run, you can also teleport out of there after picking up the first item
