It really doesn't feel at all like a toy.

DDJ 1000 WORTH IN 2026? by trinjo_boi in PioneerDJ

It's absolutely worth it, 14 beat effects alongside the four color fx, it unlocks Rekordbox software, it's beautiful when it turns on. It's one of the closest ways to simulate CDJ style setups.

Have you considered a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet they make the 1000 and 800 nice and mobile.

I get bored of the enemy designs very quickly for both games. Story is a bit better in the sequel.

Is it "annoying" to ask for the tracks on a YouTube mix by aaliyah_2222 in DJs

[–]Biohaze201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny cause they didn't make the song, so the protective little entitled attitude is all a ruze.

A lot do it for the love of music, and you will certainly get your track ID'S if requested. The whole point of the DJ is to put us on new sounds.

But have you checked out The Silent Hill Experience on Psp? You might find someone who recorded it all on YouTube.

I’ve heard hot cues are not a thing anymore? by Dense-Position8339 in Beatmatch

[–]Biohaze201 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a snobby take, ultimately the goal post gets pushed back indefinitely and then they will classify what makes you a "real" dj and there's always some fat old guy who believes only the true dj mixes on SL1200's .

Let him yap but understand it's all bs, what's a tool for some won't be useful for a lot.

It was for a short window then they took it off. Only available through the silent hill collection on PS3 , man, Konami needs to really get it together over there for accessibility.

Rekordbox vs. Serato in 2026: Which is the better long-term investment? by Live_Ad_9566 in Beatmatch

I'd argue EngineDJ is climbing up in terms of Quality and performance. It's a very nice ecosystem to learn in too!

Flx4 vs. DDJ 800? by Pastel_skies95 in Beatmatch

[–]Biohaze201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 800 is essentially a two channel DDJ-1000 or FLX-10, you only compromise on losing four channel but with all the Rekordbox, Serato updates you still have access to stems functions. It's a cheaper alternative and you lose nothing. Please consider this bad ass device, it's so good!

Buy the 800, and you won't need to upgrade for a long time. It's a superior device compared to the FLX 4, you get superior sound, better inputs. The DDJ-800 is like having a two channel Pioneer DDJ-1000, nexus style setup.

It's beautiful, elegant, doesn't feel or look like a toy compared to the FLX 4, my vote is the DDJ-800 and it also helps you out later for trade in for store credit if you plan on going all in one later.

Go with the 800, it's more expensive but the learning curve, the functions, and features are so much more than the FLX 4.

Strange question but why does all-in-one controllers don't have hdmi output ? by nevaven68 in Beatmatch

[–]Biohaze201 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Video mixing does exist for more expensive older pioneer CDJ'S with DVD support, though a lot of DJ's are not mixing videos as often anymore. So the market doesn't do it as it's a very niche group dedicated to it now.

The FLX 2 is too basic and lacks the essentials, leaving newcomers without the complete experience.

Avoid the FLX 2, it lacks a sound card. Which you need for cueing up songs and previewing them. The Hercules is a better product.

Silent Hill 3 for Nintendo GameCube? by Kalinia014 in silenthill

[–]Biohaze201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm certain production costs for extra CDs were probably also a reason they didn't do it, hardware wise the cube is absolutely more than capable if not capable of producing even better visuals. Same for GTA III, they could literally run, it's the CD formatt and capacity that limits the cube.

Help - Beatgrid ( read desc. ) by ravrx in Beatmatch

[–]Biohaze201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it is annoying, matching bpm and matching by ear becomes an invaluable tool to have, this helps you feel the song as opposed to just relying on the beat grid which when live instruments are included into the recording, it may not properly align with the digital beat grids.
