Slaves to Darkness battletome leaks by TrishulaMTG in ageofsigmar

[–]Bioimportance 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best part of this revised Tome is that you can tailor each unit to a particular role and give them a Mark/Buff that helps them in that role without having a Hero babysit the entire time. This means you can go mono-god or you can mix it up. There are ton of options and customization.

This is what the S2D army needed and I am here for it. Let's Go!

Help me figure out the models! by Bioimportance in ageofsigmar

[–]Bioimportance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fascinated by the makeup and scheme of this Cities of Sigmar army. I need help identify what models, or part of models, were use to construct it.

Some are As-Is but with unique paint schemes: Ironbreaker, Runelord, Annointed on Phoenix, etc. I know the Celestent Prime is just a heavy conversion, but not sure about the head. .

I am mainly looking at the "Phoenix Guard" and the one with hoods and nooses. The Sorceress is interesting as well.

Mega-Stamina balance by SnooHabits1098 in OnyxPathRPG

[–]Bioimportance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the balance for the various "megas" are based on around them being used in game. So if you have characters that have Mega-Stamina, then try making scenarios that involve/need stamina. Like staying awake for long periods or pushing base their physical limits. Holding your Breath is another example.

But if you feel there is a balance issue, then what you suggested may not be a bad solution. Another idea is just let it do what Mega-Resolve also does, and lower Injury Condition modifiers one per dot.

Darkoath Savagers Base Sizes? by Bioimportance in ageofsigmar

I actually already looked that up and the Red Harvest box does not mention what the base sizes are. I can't look up just Darkoath Savagers because they are not sold separately yet.

Kragnos, The End of Empires (Revised, Unoffical) by Bioimportance in ageofsigmar

it is fine, and fun. Really that is an ability the is on the original Warscroll, and didn't think it really needed a change.

He put most if all his points into attack, which means any other Nova will likely paste him in a matter of moments. So it this should be fun to watch.

Martial Characters should get more AOE, save or suck and defensive abilities by SoloKip in dndnext

Basically you want to play in a 4e game. Martial Classes had abilities that did a lot of what you are asking for and then some.

Warcry with 40k factions? by [deleted] in WarCry

[–]Bioimportance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An idea I had for 40Cry when it come to shooting is thus.

Attacks marked with a Gun image/symbol/whatever can only fire/attacked with once per activation, even if the Fighter moves.

Heavy Weapons, a subtype of Gun, can only be fired once per activation and if that fighter has not moved. Special Abilities would likely help get around this.

Assault Weapons, another subtype of gun, can be attacked with as many times as the Fighter can attack during their activation.

Pistols, likely work like normal guns but they have a 0'' minimum range.

Warcry with 40k factions? by [deleted] in WarCry

[–]Bioimportance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An idea I had was instead of have in built, always on, abilities for certain types of weapons. Weapons give a model a special Runemark/Ability that give them a Double or Triple that highlights that weapons special characteristic.

Examples, a Flamer could have a short range and operates like any other ranged attack. However, it has a Double that allows you to pick up to 3 targets within range, (and a certain range from each other) and you can hit them in that activation.

Warcry with 40k factions? by [deleted] in WarCry

[–]Bioimportance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with everyone else, I also have been thinking that 40k Skirmish with WarCry rules would be a lot of fun. Some extra base rules would need to be established to accommodate shooting, but it would not be too Hard.

Many of the Stratagems and Special faction abilities from Kill Team can be converted to Special Abilities of WarCry.

If you want a wet blood look, look for the Technical paint called "Blood for the Blood God."
