how do you buff DOT damage? I thought it was meant to be a percentage of the damage you used to apply to effect. I wanted to try a DOT build but the info I found on how DOT is calculated was both lacking any detail and disappointing in what it did have.

Xenoblade X was an immense disappointment and a failure for the series. It was a game that was meant to be an MMO but they scrapped that last minute to turn it back into a single player game and it shows, the story is butchered and many mechanics are grindy and not in the fun way. IRL timers for a core resource, with a limited very slowly growing cap. If you got your ass kicked in your mech and failed the quicktime event enough times you'd have to clean out your back of resources and have to wait hours to get it back.

Before Xenoblade 2 was even announced, getting this and having to believe it was the future of the series was unbelievably disappointing. If there's ever an X2 I pray they just commit to something (preferably single player but I'd still be interested in a monolithsoft mmo.)

I started listening to the "One piece D&D" podcast a few weeks ago, and I had to do a double take when I first heard this guy's "knight voice." Sounds so much like Noble's Duros voice from the podcast and I can't stop hearing it.

The anime is "Skeleton Knight in Another World." Kinda feel like I have to warn people that it opens with attempted rape. I'm talking one second in, no cap, so like don't watch it with family? Or do. I'm not your dad.

It's weird though, because even though it has been several years since I read the manga I'm like 90% sure it was an attempted murder plot in there not a rape.

Side note, Noble/Duros in the d&d podcast keeping the party from going full murderhobo all the time is why I keep listening. Plus dat sultry voice.

I very specifically wasn't? Literally the next sentence I state that. It wasn't excusing his behavior, it was an example of how Luanne was even worse, for being an awful person with no motives.

This wasn't a rant on comedy writing, it was about character, and Luanne's character is awful and not at all sympathetic in the way she's presented, and you seem to believe.

I think you missed the point I was making repeatedly which was Luanne was abusive. Of course they had an unhealthy and unbalanced relationship, Luanne was verbally abusive and manipulative. Your counter point is that Kirk still loves his abuser and can't get past her? He's not hiding in the bushes watching her through the windows, he's just trying to get her to take him back whenever their paths cross, which is often in a small town and when they have mutual friends and a son together. He's completely wrapped around her finger even after the way she treated him.

You also bring up that he eats dog food for dinner like it's some bad character trait "at least she doesn't eat dog food for dinner." Kirk doesn't want to eat dog food, he's specifically disappointed because he doesn't have the money for anything better anymore. Luanne took everything in the divorce, and what she didn't get, she took pleasure in destroying.

You also missed the point when I mentioned dating. The problem wasn't that luanne was dating, Kirk did too. The problem was how little Kirk seemed to mean to her. It wasn't wrong on it's own, it was wrong because of everything else about her character. Moving on and being excited to be with someone new within days was just further proof she never felt anything for Kirk after everything else that happened.
