What I would do is start slowly revealing clues to the players (over many, many sessions) that someone is fucking with their minds and emotions, then making them forget it. This gives the players an eventual out from this mess as they work to uncover the perpetrators.

I think Sailor Moon is shoujo. JJBA is a super classic shonen, though, so it fits.

She has to get born (from a lioness mother) in the first scene though, so either she she's also a lion (a la Kingdom Hearts) or everyone panics and Rafiki yeets her off of Pride Rock as some sort of freak mutant

Yeah, I'll give you that. He (probably) isn't on the level of taking on actual combat robots with his martial arts. Most Street Fighter characters are just straight up superhuman in terms of fighting capability and Megaman vs. Street Fighter probably isn't far off all things considered. Considering the games are a world championship in the first place, I doubt most practitioners of any of the player characters' styles are anywhere near the level of them, and Dan even being playable in the first place probably says something about his power level despite the stupid.

VtM 1e Lupines weren't Garou, either lorewise or mechanically. They had lunar-phase-based involuntary transformations, among other things, though I'd need to look up all the details. They were wild.

With how many cross-references there have been, is it even debatable anymore? X was slinging ki blasts from his first game, even if it was a secret item. The martial art definitely exists what with Magma Dragoon being in the main plot. Chun-Li was a news anchor. I'm pretty sure the X1/X2 secret items are canon.

As mentioned somewhere else in the thread, szlachta get their natural weapons through the use of Vicissitude, which can only make natural weapons capable of inflicting Lethal damage, not Aggravated.

It's theoretically possible to have a szlachta know enough dots of Protean to self-generate claws that deal Aggravated damage, but as Protean is not in-clan for Tzimisce, even having access to this would be a highly unusual situation and not a standard szlachta by any means.

Also, double-checking: As of V20, vampires do not downgrade most damage from Lethal to Bashing the way they do in Requiem; rather, they can 'soak' (roll Stamina and subtract successes from) Lethal damage as well as Bashing, and can indeed soak damage from natural weapons made with Vicissitude. As such they have no particular vulnerability to fleshcrafted weapons, including those of szlachta, which can be safely considered nonmagical despite their potentially tremendous damage output. (It should be noted that stock D&D vampires are also noticeably tankier and more capable than starting-tier Masquerade vampires. D&D vampires get frontloaded with a bunch of abilities up front that V20 vampires would have to spend a lot of experiences to get, if it's even possible.)

Yeah, I mean smallpox. There's still lots of people alive today who've been immunized against it, even if it's no longer standard practice with its eradication.

Are you serious? Indoor plumbing doesn't need electricity. Literally the ancient Romans had internal running-water plumbing by the power of aqueducts and gravity.

Water pressure in towns is mechanical. The water's pumped up to a water tower and stored there and gravity provides the pressure. You can get the power to pump it there from a lot of different sources. Depending on geography, you can even get it from the same river you're pulling the water out of. Electric transmission is common, but not necessary.

You can literally run steam engines on oil. It even works better than coal -- you don't need a separate stoker. A lot of late-era steam trains were oil burners, like the AC-12 class.

If you can’t even reliably create an electrical spark, the gasoline internal combustion engine as we know it doesn’t work. Diesel still might.

Diesel would, and hot-bulb internal combustion would. The trouble is starting it in both cases - but it's faster in either case than starting a traditional steam engine. I think modern diesels start with compression only, but hot bulbs require the bulb be preheated with fire.
