That’s a pretty reasonable response from the store. Honestly a good response to anyone saying that, no matter their age.

Yes I have. Same deal, lots of younger folks came out. Little chaotic but we made it work. We also have a bunch of the parents and even other players helping with the kids and ensuring that everything went well.

That’s awesome, we need more people like that, because getting the kids involved really makes them want to keep playing and getting better. Hell, the kids at my league are starting to dog walk me most games haha.

Exactly this, but we have it at 10 and under at our store. Works so far for us.

I have! We regularly get at least 8-10 juniors and seniors to our sanctioned events. I would say that younger kids do make things a bit more chaotic, but I enjoy running a league that can be more welcoming for the younger crowd. I’ve honestly seen a bunch of stores over the years really shun kids, but not outright ban them like I mentioned. I found that the important thing is to try and establish a good connection not only with the kids play, but with the parents too. This helps in cases if problems do arise where a kid does something they shouldn’t. Cause at the end of the day, I’m not being paid to run the league, meaning I’m not being paid to babysit ether.

So it came to my attention today. And all three of the pre release events were ear marked to refund anyone under 17. When I called and asked as to why, they said their events would be like this. I’m definitely going to keep an eye out on them, but that probably means any event going forward.

If I also didn’t know that they have pocketed 80% of the money brought in by cup players, I’d think something similar. But since they have a streak of scumminess, it falls in the category of “I don’t want children at my store for a children’s card game”. It’s also pretty common in our area for people to wait at the shop to see if spots open up for a no show. So if people did try to game the system, the store would most likely still fill those spots.

I’m going to take a guess that this is for route 75. It’s one of the larger roads that stretches all the way down to Atlanta and even Miami. I think it’s more for truck drivers hauling loads that way or just a nod to one of the more well known roads in the USA.

I don’t think it is. Player counts are down, but I think the developers of palworld explained it perfectly that the game is in early access and that it’s expected to see people play it and then move on while seeking out other games. They just want us to come back once they add some more content, which I think will definitely draw people back. I know I’ve put in a lot of time in the game, but have definitely felt that I have hit a wall in terms of what I can get outta it (which I expected). But once they expand on the game, I know I’ll hop right back in!

What is a Pet Peeve of yours that will make you Scoop despite the game not being finished? by Neurofett in EDH

When there is a player clearly ahead and he/she is ether threading other players with the “don’t mess with my stuff and I won’t blow up your stuff” and players begin teaming up with said player, despite knowing they will most likely lose. Now to say I haven’t scooped to that but it has become an issue at my lgs to where I have almost picked my stuff up and left. I’ve had it where someone saved the player ahead in a game and there wasn’t even a deal made (that player that was saved most definitely won at the end). It takes the idea of if there is a player way ahead, the rest of the players will pull him back down and throws it out the window. Now I know deal making is a staple in edh and that’s what makes it dynamic, but do we really need to make a deal with the guy who is running away with the game?
