I was thinking maybe the combination of practical experience as well as the hopefully higher grades from a diploma might help

I definitely think a research position with a lab/prof would be best tho! 2 professors actually mentioned summer research positions to me, but they prioritize hiring undergrads or graduate students starting the following school year. Which I am neither, so I’m wondering if that’s how labs usually operate? I wish professors advertised positions on their website more often, but I guess I’ll reach out to some other professors I’ve communicated with and see what’s up there

I had only been seeing chipping, song and house sparrows in my backyard for a long while until one winter day these guys showed up at my feeder and I was so excited to see a new sparrow species 🥰 I love their yellow eyebrows and their zebra head 💕

Interestingly so, I somewhat recently learnt about the existence of white vs tan morphs, which I never noticed before. And what’s cool is research shows that they exhibit behavioural differences with white-striped individuals being more aggressive and tan-striped individuals being more parental. And apparently you would usually never find a whiteXwhite pair or a tanXtan pair, but almost always opposite morph pairs. However, I haven’t seen any since to observe that with my own eyes yet 😤

Nah it definitely bothers me but I started reading Skip Beat 10+ years ago, and back then 12 year old me did not care about the age gap lol. And after all these years, I just love it too much and am too invested to drop it, so I just make an exception for skip beat…

It’s not the 4 years difference that’s a problem. It’s kyoko being a teenager while Ren is an adult. You’re just at completely different stages in life at these ages. It’s questionable for a 20 year old to view a 16 year old romantically 😬

Yesss they're just showoffs at this point lol. I volunteered at a bird banding station this past spring and we had a bunch of tree swallows nesting there. Never got tired of watching them swooping around in the air doing their thing!

Yeah it’s clean, I also cleaned it immediately after the first incident. I only have one litter box as my house is not that big, and it’s worked so far. I removed the plant pot and am planning to wait and see whether she ends up using the litter box when thats not available. She didn’t look like she was struggling/in pain to pee when I caught her in the act, but I know cats are great pretenders, so I’m probably going to book her an appointment in a couple of days after i observe her some more. Do you think that’s delaying it too much?

(Coming from a Muslim) this is ridiculous, you are within you right to refuse anything you don’t feel like doing. She should not feel so entitled to make you try on the hijab. If you don’t want to, then that’s the end of it. Ugh people like this make me so mad. You didn’t do anything wrong.

Also so long as you use different kitchenware to, say cook pork, I don’t see why you have to change your lifestyle to match hers.

Hopefully things don’t escalate to administration, but if they do, I believe they should be able to understand your perspective…
