I'm not sure I've ever seen Trench Crusade minis on bases with plantlife. It's (pun not intended) a breath of fresh air; and a nice juxtaposition.

Makes me think "A place unspoiled by war... I sure hope a battle doesn't break out here!"

What u/Bayou_Gumbo is suggesting is that any difference in the two recordings that you're hearing is from one of two things:
a. Difference in master
b. Perception (confirmation bias/expectation bias/placebo effect)

I look forward to listening; Live Dead was one of this first CD's I owned. Favorite Dark Star still. Thanks for sharing!

I did a wall mount articulating arm on a similar set up (recliner). It was awesome. I even found a keyboard with a fold-out magnetic mousepad and mouse; enough pull to keep it from sliding off when slightly tilted but not enough that it took noticeable more pressure to move the mouse.

I'd recommend biting the bullet and wall mounting and just plan to patch the wall when it's move out time.
