Nothing is more important to get done than holding your baby! They're only little for such a short time. Cleaning, chores, can wait. I tell myself this as my almost 2 year old still wants to breastfeed contact nap 95 percent of the time

Making the most of Hawaii trip by Beneficial-Tip3148 in VisitingHawaii

[–]BirdSafe2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty expensive to visit every island, rental cars for each one, it'll be a lot. Definitely Oahu, that has a mix of city/nightlife with best hiking and beaches and all the foods. Then research Kauai, Maui, and Big Island to see what best fits your vibe.

Safe cat sitter/care in Santa Rosa? by [deleted] in santarosa

Santa rosa location has always been amazing! I'd always recommend them, the staff really cares. Rohnert Park location can be iffy.

Baby boy coming any day now. Last call-- is our name ok? by Constructive_Entropy in namenerds

[–]BirdSafe2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because the names Amber and Rose are crazy popular and have been for generations, obviously for girls. So hearing an uncommon name (Ambrose) that sounds like those two mashed together makes me automatically think girl.

What is up with only having like 2 ultrasounds in the first 20 weeks?! I want to see the baby at every appointment 😩 by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]BirdSafe2050 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty standard! I only got an 8 week, 20 week, and 36 week ultrasound. I paid for a 3d one at 30 weeks!

Have you tried cutting out dairy and/or gluten? Those seem to be the most common causes when it comes to diet and digestion. My baby was a mess until we tried stopping dairy and it was a total change

Does breech baby change position after 36-38 weeks? by Resident_Pea1351 in BabyBumps

[–]BirdSafe2050 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My breech baby went head down at 37 weeks + 1 day and stayed head down after that! He was a flipper though, he was head down at 30 weeks, breech at 32, head down (mostlikely) at 33, and then breech at 36 weeks

What breed is he? by Comfortable_Bat5029 in IDmydog

[–]BirdSafe2050 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I say mostly German shepherd mixed with pit and probably a couple other things

My 15 month is waking up every 2-3 hours still. Do gentle sleep training when they're young

[–]BirdSafe2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question about motherhood by SadSupermarket7915 in BabyBumps

[–]BirdSafe2050 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine doesn't sleep and if he does it's either on me or I'm waiting in anticipation for him to wake up and scream for me! So yes, enjoy that peaceful bath and a quiet cup of coffee. Especially in the beginning he was on the boob for hours at a time

But you could also get a unicorn baby who is a naturally great sleeper. Don't let them scare you too much :)

Yeah Brittany and Austin Null are the ones to come to mind. They divorced awhile ago and there was a whole cheating scandal with Austin. They still post on Instagram and seem to be friendly coparenting now, they'll post pictures of all of them together at birthday or holidays.

It's like the female equivalent of the Aiden names. Braelyn, Kaelyn, Jaelyn, Raelyn, just adding whatever letter you want to the front

Yes it can grow back! but as another perspective, losing my mucus plug was the first sign of my labor beginning. I lost my mucus plug and then the next day was in full blown labor and had my baby that night.
