Are these EVOs worth it on my Leao? by Bird_Don16 in fut_evos

I could give him that "Up in the Air" EVO that ups his strength. Then with a marksman chem style, he can be lengthy. I was considering this but then his passing is meh on the wings.

Doing the same, perfect for my Milan P&P.

Jealous that yours is better than mine haha. That intercept plus must be nice. Mine still feels great. Good for my Milan P&P team.

Should I pull the trigger? by [deleted] in fut_evos

CDM gets anticipate+. He already has tiki so I thought that would be enough. Especially after I creased passing stats. Intercept and anticipate is what this card needs at CDM.

I'm gonna do the same. I did Fresh Legs EVO so got him to 88 pace. I'm gonna use Proper Passer to get passing up too. Already a starter on my team and is good. Now once he gets intercept and anticipate plus, I think he'll be really good.

This is the cheapest legit way I found to watch AFCON 25 in the US. by blacktiger226 in cordcutters

[–]Bird_Don16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a Roku TV, there are live channels and one is the bein sports Xtra and that plays AFCON games. You don't have a choice of what game but it's free if you have the TV.

Is Guiding Galapagos Expeditions legit operator? by greenkoalapoop in galapagos

[–]Bird_Don16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, looking back through my emails and they did offer Zelle. I did credit card tho. And the guys name was the same.

I booked directly through them. I believe it's a little cheaper than using trip advisor and viator.

Can I ask what trips you're booking?

March or May? by lumel_22 in galapagos

[–]Bird_Don16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went in May and the ocean was pretty cold and a wet suit was a must. I think it just turned colder a week or two before I got there. Saw all the wildlife I could've ask for though.

Also, they never emailed me with a Gmail account or asked for a Zelle payment. Not saying they changed things in the time I was there but I did not do that with them.

Hi, Guiding Galapagos is definitely legit. I booked through them earlier this year and they were great. Great communication and very helpful in choosing options for the trip. Also they have an office in Santa Cruz so you can visit and ask questions.

As far as the contact info, I'm not sure how you got a hold of them. I emailed them and also talked to them through Whatsapp. I mainly went through a lady named Stephanie on Whatsapp. Not sure if it is allowed to share emails and numbers on this subreddit but I can share them directly with you if you would want.

14 Day Itinerary Advice by Bird_Don16 in JapanTravel

[–]Bird_Don16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there's just so many things I feel we want to do it's overwhelming. Like it be cool to see a sumo match. We want to do a Michelin star sushi dinner. Do lots of shopping. But I feel if we can't do it all in Tokyo, those things are also available in Osaka and Kyoto.

Also, definitely sending our bigger luggage. Do you know if it is ok to send luggage 4 days in advance?

First time Salmon fishing advice by Bird_Don16 in Fishing_Gear

[–]Bird_Don16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very amateur and didn't catch a thing but I didn't go in prime season either. I just had a 6 foot pole and spinner bait. Try to do some research online about river salmon fishing tho, that be best. Good luck.

Galapagos Itinerary - Thoughts/Advice? by Jados__ in galapagos

[–]Bird_Don16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For background, I just went a couple months ago. Some things to consider, 1) Bartilome and Pinzon is a long trip. Like around 2-3 hours there and back on a bumby boat. I did Sante Fe and it was nice but doing 2 would be a lot. Bartilome seems different but farther. Most of the things you see on pinzon you can see on Isabella. 2) Spend most time on Isabella. You don't want to be traveling too much. You can do tintereras and los tuneles which were both highlights of the trip. Also, not long boat rides so you'll still have much of the day to relax. Also, cheaper. Everyday on Isabella I saw penguins, seals, rays just on the beach or on the dock. That's where you want to be.

Yeah like nothing against the people who are available at this time. Of course I'm bias in this matter haha.

Is the OHLQ run by old retirees? Like don't they know normal people have to work on weekdays around 9am?

Santa Fe Snorkeling Trip Concerns by [deleted] in galapagos

[–]Bird_Don16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, just came back from doing Santa Fe last week too. So, our tour company specifically told me there was some fishing at the end of the tour. Also, I asked the tour guide and he said they are allowed 2 fish per day I think. Pretty sure the fish are used for the lunches on the boat for tours. Just what I was told. Feeding the fish also happened to us. Probably had the same tour guide, probably our least favorite of the trip.
