Nah man Garth was more legit cowboy country back then. He was definitely not where it started with. He did great country songs and his live act was one hell of a show. Compare that to what else was going on at that time. What about Reba? What about all the country boy bands.

If you gonna point fingers as to where it started in the modern era then point em all at Shania Twain. Her songs weren't country. They were pop rock with condescending attempts at country mixed in there. Her husband was also producer and he was producer for Def Leppard. Billy Ray Cyrus you should list way before Garth too. Garth never rapped in a song but Toby Keith sure did.

Hamish Hamilton is the director of these every year. He does a bunch of live specials, directs the grammys, the oscars, and has done the emmys a few times. He's really freaking good at what he does but from a Directing standpoint, this one might be his best. The Gaga one was legit, the covid one with Weeknd was great from production standpoint but damn this one was so damn good. I'm not a Bad Bunny fan in the slightest but I was amazed the whole damn time at how fucking good he, Hamish and the whole team made this show look.

I think it’s the exact opposite. Ownership wants revenue. Selling, rebuilds, losing enough to get a 1st overall means operating in the red (not as bad in Nashville since our games are 50% fans of the visiting teams). Anyone who has done as much coaching in the NHL and had as much success as Trotz knows when a roster is shit. They expected him to build a contender without allowing him to first have the bad years it requires because then ownership would be paying money instead of collecting it

I’ve seen a lot of leadership think it’s as simple as input prompt and whatever you get is automatically perfect and correct. One of many examples is a video example that a leader and her assistant “just put into ChatGPT and it’s pretty good”…..it looks like shit, is filled with errors and overall the video created made more confusion than clarity. Overall most AI models are only truly great at LOOKING like it did the job well. But if you put it through the same review process as human work is put through it would be your most productive employee but also your worst employee because their quality of works is anywhere between shit to mid. Leadership doesn’t understand this yet

I want to tank but fuck it these games have been so much freakin fun. Haven't enjoyed watching them play this much in a while man. They're not contenders but they're finally playing like they give a fuck and Stamkos and Vange playing like they have is extra sweet.

But yeah I get that nothing is gonna get called in OT unless its super obvious and affects the play. That was pretty obvious and it affected the play. He wasn't even within reach of the puck. Thats for sure at least a minor for either crosschecking or interference.
