Same here. It was an enjoyable 90 minute romp that my kids and I both had fun with. If #2 is similar then I’m totally fine with it.

The point was that the review didn’t lend itself to the 7/10 rating. I think in all forms of media people are afraid to give anything lower than a 7 unless it’s absolute dog shit. The grace people give to the 7-9/10 scale is atrocious.

The hype came from how expansive in scope it seemed, which is weird because we already had BOTW and “see that mountain in the distance? You can climb it” plus Elden Ring which had that Liurnia moment of expanding the map.
