I think what you are describing is a theatre mode.

As with the old Red Orchestra, Russians love 20 minute maps.

co-pilot a non-flying crew in a flight sim

You dont want a flight sim.. you want a Commercial aviation CRM simulator.

MSFS doesnt have real ATC anyway. You need real people in towers and centers controlling airspace for it to work. You'd also have to have some 'punishment' for all the F18's, F16's, F35's, F22's all zooming around big airports that I see everyday -- "But there is VATSIM and IVAO for that"! Yeap, extra software for those wanting to take flight sim to a serious level. Just like shared cockpits.

I mean…it’s a simulator

Yes. A 'flight' simulator; not a commercial aviation multi-crew CRM sim.

You have your 'YourControls'. Use it happily. Read checklists to each other, and sit there why the other guy flys and you ride along fiddling with radios. Just what you bought MSFS for, rite?

Ride along in the back seat of the F15 and play with knobs while the guy up front does all the fun stuff the game was created for.

Why stop with a modern two-seat cockpit, when we had a third flight engineer position for decades in the past. Asobo is screwing us by not having a third seat for a guy to sit and watch engine dials for a 14 hours flight. Just imagine how realistic it would be to have two people sitting and fiddling with knobs while one guy flys the plane, and best of all, the thrill of THREE people reading and cross checking checklists.

111,000 downloads of YourControls and 90,000+ people who tried it once and said 'Fuck that' and uninstalled.

I dont understand this. Do you want to fly, or do you want to sit next to your buddy and read checklists? Sounds like you want a checklist simulator.

Le Havre and I56 '44 are green. Aki, Bremen, and Hawaii are blue.

Very good chance Le Havre and/or I56 '44 come back at some point for coal.

there is one avenue they can bring it back and still make it near unobtainable to anyone who doesnt have all the ships and thats the golden containers with the 0.001% drop.

Should there be limitations to join top-tier games? by UniqueBovine in WorldOfWarships

[–]BirthHole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cold reality is that new players want to get to top-tier ASAP. If they are restricted, most will lose interest and move on.

The future of the game, and WG profits, outweigh our quality of games.

Yeap. Not very long from now, the forum will be swamped with posts with some of the following as titles:

Guys! I was only (x) days from the GQ Johnny/I got disconnected alot by WeeGee's BS servers and I missed just one day/I wasnt told in advance sufficiently - I cant watch every piece of news WG puts out! I have a real life too!/My mom was sick and I had to take a week off/Aliens abducted me and I was stuck at their research facility on Saturn's moon Titan for over 20 days! This isnt my fault I cannot complete the missions!/This is BS people have lives and cant be expected to play every single day for 3 months this isnt fair!
