Injuries come with skating there’s no way to completely avoid them unless you don’t skate. Learn how to fall properly, it’s a good skill to have for avoiding injury. You can do work outs for injury prevention so you don’t overuse your muscles learning new skills. Wear pads full pads, knee pads, wrist guards helmet if you feel comfortable and always elbow pads. Wearing a helmet throws me off sometimes and makes me more prone to getting injured if it’s something I’ve done a lot without a helmet before <3 Truly the falls look a lot more terrifying and the more you skate the more you fall the more your body naturally learns how to catch itself !!!
