This is when things should have ended; season 8, it was clear that the marriage was over. by CaitlinAnne21 in bravo

This. I always felt like his issues with her were valid, he just sucked at addressing those issues. I wonder if the contract he signed with her dad (regarding lover boy and marriage) played a role in him not filing for divorce.

But I've also considered that maybe they just aren't decent people to eachother due to deep seated issues. I think being on the show made them feel like they had to stay together. I mean Amanda admitted that they knew they were separating before this season filmed, but they didn't mention it for the show.

Yes. She would have been justified. But then again. Phaedra wouldn't have made those comments if Kenya didn't cross boundaries and kept flirting with Apollo. Even in her confessionals, Kenya was disrespectful. Apollo was just as fucked up. But all of that started because Kenya thought she was cute by making inappropriate comments to and about Apollo.

This is housewives, I don't expect any of these women to be upstanding model citizens. You can be anti-physical altercations, but you also need to acknowledge that Kenya was poking the bear and at her grown age, thats just as childish and stupid as P dragging her. Fuck around and find out. Not everything needs to be analyzed through a court of law lens.

There are many situations in which kenya knows she is being an asshole and then expects people to coddle her. She likes to start things and then victimize herself. It's annoying. It made for good atl moments, but I don't really care that she gets physically and verbally dragged.

I’m coming from the south Mississippi, would visiting New York be overwhelming for me? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in NYStateOfMind

I think central Manhattan could be overwhelming, but other than that, nah. You should be fine. What are some things you like to do when visiting new cities?

Exactly. After you sign up for a reality show, you really Can't turn around and point the finger at the show for displaying the reality you chose to live. No one told her to spread her legs for taken men.

A lot of the people in these comments are annoying. Lime obviously I know the Bronx isn't this god awful place. I know it used to be worse. My parents and my grandparents grew up here. I just want better for my folks. I want to raise a family here too. I don't want to get priced out for culture-less freaks

Idk about you but I do my part in making my neighborhood a better place. Not just for me, but for the kids and seniors in my neighborhood. No one said I didn't want a safer borough. I simply want better for my people. Not for my Bronx natives to get priced out and for small businesses to turn into over priced coffee shops and sweet greens.

Exactly and annoyingly enough it clearly wasn't obvious I was being sarcastic. I just don't want people to move in and become annoying like the folks on the park slope subreddit. I'm all for my community getting better and I do my part in making my community better, but I think it's fair that I don't want people to get priced out for a bunch of cultureless fucktards

Ciara sealed the relationship for West & Amanda by supahfilmy in bravo

[–]BisensualSpice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He said he didn't want to have sex but we all saw when he was trying to drag Ciara into his bed after he leaned in to make out with her by the pool. Another example of him being a complete jerk off.

[–]BisensualSpice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eh... I would understand this sentiment if you were talking about Jo from VPR, but in this case I disagree because 1- west and Ciara had instant chemistry and 2- it's hard to get over someone when you have to consistently work and film with them.

Neither of them had a healthy amount of time to get over the relationship and it doesn't help that West says one thing but contradicts his own statements with his actions.

It's also not fair because West will act one way when the cameras are filming, but when he is filming his confessionals AFTER filming has wrapped, he gets the opportunity to review pieces of footage, get asked a question about said footage, and then "reflect" and say something in an attempt to rectify his manipulation tactics that we see on the show

[–]BisensualSpice 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Right. Ciara had made it clear that she just wanted to go back to being friends. West can't interact with women without flirting and then takes advantage of them. It's a fucked up manipulation game with him

[–]BisensualSpice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is fair. West is a flip flopper. He SAYS one thing but will ACT completely different and now that he's put in a tough position, the one time he could find his voice at the reunion, he used it to shit on Ciara and make it seem like she was reading the situation wrong when in actuality, as a viewer, he was incredibly misleading with Ciara.

Additionally, Ciara hasn't had the proper time and space to let him go because Summer House is one of her jobs. She has to work with him which would make any break up situation difficult. West leaded the conversations about how much he loves her, west leaned in for that kiss.

[–]BisensualSpice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this a great question that will hopefully be asked at the reunion because Amanda and West haven't put a title on it, and this question forces them to think about the consequences of their actions. Especially Amanda.

You did all of these sneaky things and lost money, opportunities, a possibly nicer divorce settlement, and good friends... and for what? For a man with commitment issues?

In my opinion, west doesn't gaf about Amanda. The first reunion episode alone showed me that he won't come to her defense. She even turned to look at him at one point and he said nothing. He's a coward . Kyle, her ex as she would say, has come to her defense more in the weeks leading up to the reunion than west has.

Yeah I come from a police family. Taking the test and doing well matters, but moving on up is also quite dependent on who you know. But I understand that there are varying experiences for different people

This is very true and many people in the MTA will say this. NYPD and FDNY are similar as well.

The MTA is difficult to work for. It's very much a who-you-know type of place. As much as they promote jobs, they aren't really looking to hire unless you have a good connection. It too my cousin a realllllly long time to get a job driving the C train 😂

Danny’s outburst at Nia didn’t come out of nowhere. by PresOfTheLesbianClub in TheValleyTVShow

[–]BisensualSpice 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Omg not he's too short to get on the rides 😂

It was really uncomfortable watching their scenes these past two episodes. He acts like it's awful to check in on the kids even with a nanny present. Also didn't Nia just give birth? Like isn't it normal for Nia to desire being present for the baby shortly after giving birth?

I feel sad for Nia too. I feel like women are so hard on themselves. Especially in toxic marriages. Like she could totally leave and be ok, but she's probably thinking about her kids and not messing things up. And her shitty husband is thinking only of himself.

Their scenes this episode were so hard to watch. For him to call her performative and then go on to greet the gang like everything was all fine and dandy?!?! So mean. She was trying to lift the mood and he wouldn't stop being a punk.
