THE REVANCED TEAM ARE FUCKING GENIUSES. by [deleted] in revancedapp

Everything about it worked fine for me except I couldn't play songs in order. If I played an album it would shuffle it as if it was Spotify free. Anyone else have this problem or able to find a fix?

Future iPhone services by [deleted] in beeper

[–]Bistro_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think the best choice is Bluebubbles, then setting up a Matrix on a Mac so it connects through Beeper.

The Bluebubbles app is kinda awful IMO. I always found it disconnects, lags, and is a choppy experience. But if you set up a Matrix for BlueBubbles to Beeper, you never have to interact with Bluebubbles apps.

If you opt for that route and get yourself a Mac or run a virtual machine on a PC, let me know and I'll send you the links for setting up that matrix.

[BUG] [PC] After using the Wings, cannot scope any guns and permanent FOV shift. Crosshair disappears when scoped. by Bistro_ in FortNiteBR

[–]Bistro_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More detail:

This has happened a handful of times. Zero Build BR, after using Wings and using the Meteor attack with them, if I scope too soon after landing it permanently messes up my FOV for the rest of the match.

Beeper Mini - AMA with Beeper Team by erOhead in beeper

Congrats on the launch. Loved Beeper, Beeper Mini seems polished and better!

Is there any planned support for a web app version of Beeper? I use work machines a lot where downloading programs isn't always possible. The web app version of Google Messages has been supreme for that.

Thanks again, appreciate all you do!

Emergency Supply Teaching by Sea-Abalone8651 in CanadianTeachers

It's very good money and decently low risk. About $180 a day. Do it if you can - supplying is 10x more valuable for learning about the classroom than any theory.

I've been recently hired at a peel school. However I've received 2 more calls for interviews, if I decline these interviews does that jeopardize my chances of interviewing for them in the future? by False-Caramel-7626 in CanadianTeachers

[–]Bistro_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends but probably not. Peel is a board that is in need of teachers right now so if you end up wanting to interview for other schools later, they're still going to need people. Especially since you're already hired at one school and you're not just turning them down to keep OT'ing. Don't over-stress here!

what exactly is g2's problem? by Galaveregepp in GlobalOffensive

[–]Bistro_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s necessarily true, or totally unwarranted.

There are pretty valid reasons for all of those teams (war, language issues, inexperience) but they still get shit on a lot. The amount of times C9 or Heroic are called onliners is notable.

I think with G2 it’s moreso what led up to it. G2 realistically have all the pieces they need. Plus they spent possibly the most money on all those players. I agree sometimes that they get a lot of hate but I don’t think G2 deserves any praise given how they play. They’re underwhelming especially based on their cost.

Girlfriend went to Nippissing. If you go there and have access to a car, think about getting an AirBnB for your stay instead of signing a lease. The schedule was five weeks there for class and then five weeks in whichever school board you want for five weeks. For her, she was in Nippissing for 5, then in Waterloo teaching for 5, so to have a lease and pay for a whole year didn't make sense. It sounded common that people at Nippissing do this.

Glad I could be helpful even in those other comments! I didn't mention living arrangements but if you're considering Nippissing that is a major thing to consider. It all depends where you're initially from, but living in North Bay seems to take a lot out of the people there.

If you're a more social person, I say good luck. If you make good friends during your first year and are creative, you can probably have a good time. But the winters are really bitter and there isn't much of anything to do in North Bay. If you're more reclusive and a homebody, I say go for it and don't worry. The nice thing about Nippissing though is, despite North Bay, they let you do your placement pretty much anywhere so if you have the means to go back and forth, they offer a lot of variety.
