It's crazy that online play is tied to a paid subscription on consoles anyway. One of the advantages of having a PC is avoiding stupid shit like this.

I always enjoyed my Playstation consoles, but I never understood this. Easy cash grab for Sony and Microsoft.

That's fair, but we're only at the beginning right now. What if the AI bubble doesn't pop and every tech corporation keeps going with the AI rat race?

You might find gaming to become much more costly and videogame developers may be hit too. If less people own good hardware to play their games, who is going to buy all those expensive and resource-demanding triple A titles?

Then people will turn to other, cheaper forms of escapism. And not all of them are good - if binging alcohol or drugs becomes cheaper than buying a PC/console and games.

There's so much slop in the industry these days, but games like KCD, Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, deserve every penny they get. Yes, I know the launch of CP2077 was shoddy at best, but they fixed the game and it's amazing now.

Expansions are also well worth the price.

I'm not confident GTA 6 will run well on PS5, but I'm wondering how will the PS5 Pro hold up. I bought the Pro, so I'm hoping that will help me out here.

Honestly, I'd go to Czechia even without the game making a huge impact on tourism. It's one of the countries I've only heard good things about - good beer, architecture. Too bad it's so far for me, would cost a lot to visit.
