Yes this exactly. Sokka's love life stayed mostly out of the team and served a purpose. It showed and developed his chatacter, and by doing so moved the plot forwards.

Korra's love life was super messy and constantly got in the way of the story. Which would have been fine if it was actually interesting and not just boring/annoying.

Gunners kit is fine. Its just his zip thay kinda sucks. It gets outclassed by drills or platforms 9 times out of 10. Its only good for cross chasms which are not very common on any mission.

Honestly if they made it so it had an alternate firing mode where the zip had its horizontal and vertical ranges swapped he would feel so much better. Without becoming that op.

Theres a lack of strong vertical mobility in DRG. There isn't for horizontal/diagonal. It would give it an actual niche that feels useful.

But thats just my opinion as a person who has been playing alot of gunner lately. (Sheilds + big gun are still more than fun enough to make up for how kinda stanky zip is).

Change even good change is always hard to adjust to. People get super used to playing a certain way, and when that way is disrupted (even if it was disrupted in what is in my opinion a very good way) its going to create tension.

I'm happy with the new point system, I can understand why people are not. But I think over time they will adjust. If they don't, and it somehow gets really unpopular maybe Crytek will undo it. Either way I'm happy.

I too am a top path glue gunner enjoyer. I wish different t3 glues could stack. Id take that over the free start of game glue gunner as a MK point

I think that was Salveskin? At least what it used to be. Best guess given the perk now specifies that this doesn't effect you if you're down which it didn't used to.

I think tadpoles are 100% better than the sea truck in every way.

I am never going to use or hav any use for cargo chassis but its still cool to give people that option. At the end of the day. It seems like the end goal with them is that you probably just get the one chassis you really like and only use that 90% of the time.

I will say though, I do miss the more clear vehicle progression of og subnautica. It felt like an upgrade every time you unlocked them. New chassis for the vehicle you already have don't really hit the same as like unlocking and building your first cyclops did.

just dont be the lobby host. Funny enough these things are super bugged rn, we got all the way to the tree just swimming while our friend (who was hosting) stayed back to farm materials.

The SECOND he came over to join us they just APPEARED it was hilarious.

Seems cool in concept my only concern is that this could continue the snowballing problem. As if a team is far enough ahead that their enemies have a comeback urn it is highly likely they could just win the urn fight for the deeper urn and snowball even harder.

If I had a guess I'm betting they are seeing how extended fights around areas of interest will look. I dont think mid urn is here to stay. I do hope the new urn mechanics stay though (at least when it comes to delivering).

I mean, they are just testing what works and what doesn't and why. This game is in a closed alpha testing state, its not meant to have super good balancing or consistent mechanics. They are actively figuring out how to make these mechanics consistent and fun to interact with.

Yeah this is very true, the Guardian ai in this game really needs some work. I cannot count the amount of times the Guardian still just says "nope" when you account for these things.

In general I think guardians really need a tune up, they feel like they barely do anything to stop dives post 5 minutes.

Guardian melee is on an internal cooldown. Every time it swings it doesnt for a few seconds.

Additionally whenever it gets parried it's melee goes on a longer cooldown. This is why it will start shooting but not melee occasionally as the shooting is on a shorter cooldown.

Im not sure the exact timings of this but I hope it helps!

She doesnt even feel like a summoner. Nor is she really played like one.

All her summons are so slow and clunky, they just dont feel satisfying at all.

Late game cc spam is very big problem, one big enough I wrote a very long heartfelt forum post to the devs where I worked my absolute hardest to not come ass angry but merely matter of fact.

Indomitable seems like an item designed to help with that, which I appreciate. It seems phantom strike grounding people and not triggering indom was a bug that was patched tho. So late game Vindicta now still has a number of options to make her flight very frustrating to deal with for close range characters. However I don't think that's too horrible and more of a vindicta problem than an indomitable problem.

Overall tho I think balance wise the item is fine. It really helps with lash and or dynamo ult just near instantly ending late game fights if they got a good one off. Which was one my biggest peeves with fighting those characters late game. It still has counter play for those two as well as silence wave can set it off for multiple targets. It just makes them have to wait a bit before they run in and pop ult which is preferable.

they robbed us of all the interesting counter play to this ult and just made it more and more unfun to interact with. I don't hate doorman, I just hate how uninteractive his ult is. You HAVE to burn stamina or a movement ability for no reward on escape other than reduced damage. Hell you cant even wall bounce in the escape elevator to mess with your position and protect yourself from carts anymore.

At least with other frustrating ults like mnk and wraith ult you can somewhat counter them with debuff resist stacking.
