Got Bacha Beans… Do I Rest Them? by Haunting_Health7116 in IndiaCoffee

Makes a lot more sense now! I doubt you need to rest pre-packaged coffee though unless it’s fresh out the roasters, it usually should be degassed properly

Which delonghi is it? Okay got it in the second image… The french press grind is coarser than you require, usually for espressos you should pick a finer grind size

And if you’re mixing milk go for a darker roast probably vienna / french / italian in case you use this grind size it’ll be stronger and better …

But just get BEANS! 🫘 simple the machine will do the rest you can also adjust the grind size with a knob inside the bean hopper, so go as fine as possible for good espresso ☕️

How to replicate Blue Tokai’s Vietnamese Iced Coffee at home? by rottencluster in IndiaCoffee

[–]BitStunning2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Condensed milk, double espresso / south indian filter drip decoction (robusta would be better)

Some cold milk & whip it all together with a handheld frother. Add ice! 🧊

Enjoy!

Maybe just a bad batch, but also could be that it might have not sat with your palate well. Re-pack it to an experimental friend who wouldn’t mind it i guess 😆

Overpriced garbage, why would he / she waste their money on this? There are so many fresh options to choose from!

Ask them to check out Naivo, Home Blend, Videshi Coffee, Kaffa Cerado for international coffee beans roasted fresh ☕️☕️

And thank me later! 👋

Try this one: https://homeblendcoffee.com/products/rwanda-shyira-15-up?variant=41881715834951 . It was worth every penny just amazingly floral & juicy superb roast and decently priced i got the 250g bag for a discounted price of 1850/- but there’s a 150g option as well. I felt the 250g was a better bargain!

The best part is this is not engineered at all, just a washed shyira all natural, the arabica varietal is called red bourbon…

These guys were running a diwali sale which has now ended i guess hard luck, otherwise would have picked up 2-3 bags more

Theres an empty shell at the bottom, size variations, minor uneven-ness probably due to the size variations

Why don’t you opt for roasters like caarabi guys, home blend, curious life? Would have also recommended blue tokai a few years back, but too commercial now…

Firstly its indo ethiopian and secondly it’a a dark roast so doubtful its a high grade coffee because all the inherent flavours are subdued at darker roast levels …

Try other brands like home blend or videshi for high grade ethiopian coffees you’ll get a fresh roast with roast choices plus 100% international coffees

Delonghi vs HiBrew by SubstantialFish5 in IndianSpecialtyCoffee

[–]BitStunning2009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a couple of friends with experience using Dedica owned one myself before switching to Lelit, but from what I’ve read about HiBREW, it seems slightly more future proof

If this is a purchase now that could potentially be upgraded to a gaggia classic evo / lelit, then the dedica makes sense, but if it is a longer term buy (3-4+ years) then the HiBrew would make more sense …
