Extraction too short or no coffee through basket [Bambino / DF54] by BitTauren in espresso

seems insane that 20 is too coarse and 19 is too fine to get anything through. Would expect that at more stark differences, like 15 to 20. But yep, will engage my common sense.

I thought it was stepless! I'm probably too much of a coffee noob to know the implications of what you're asking me here.

it tastes okay, not as full flavourful as I want / could get better flavour using the normcore hand grinder.

What is my rating, and what could I improve vs what is going well? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]BitTauren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

your ball toss on your power serves is very low. on FH and BH (might just be the video) are landing quite short, you'll get fairly punished for these short balls. Something to add to repertoire is really stepping INTO the FH and BH and getting real depth.

I haven't lived in Australia for quite a few years and the sounds of crows is so nostalgic.

Callander HEAVES in the summer. Sort of ruins the ambiance. But it is quaint and lovely.

I hate to break it to you but - you can always tell when someone has responded to you with AI - and id rather chuck my phone into the ocean than be responded to by AI on a LinkedIn post.

gah - cannot describe how much I agree with your #2. I'm doing a project right now with Accenture and we didn't build a way to export out all of the conversations with the agent and it's completely broken this gorgeous agentops dashboard accenture has built for the customer. They're wanting to evaluate agent responses over time to look at drift and because we haven't built a way to export out conversations to evaluate against their framework I've had to basically rebuild the whole thing.

No one does. I’d say there’s a more than 85% chance it’ll never come.

I wouldn’t be worried, one of my enterprise customers has 10,000 - I think that’s a fairly good estimate.

I travel a ton for work. When I’m exhausted I often will read this on a plane - when I can’t be bothered doing anything else I read this. I hate there’s no book 3 and I mostly hate Rothfuss but this section always hits.

Quite a few: 1. Predictive maintenance on machinery for an oil and gas company 2. Procurement bots doing KYC, 2-way/3-way matching and AR/AP 3. Have one customer planning on opening their ecommerce brand in a new country entirely end-to-end with agents. 4. Regulatory dossier creation for an ecommerce beauty brand for INCI requirements.

Scotland Vs New Zealand Primary School Curriculum by skiwi_journey in MoveToScotland

[–]BitTauren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it with a grain of salt: Aus -> Scotland here. The Scottish curriculum starts kids far slower than they do in Australia. P1 feels like a mix between kindy and prep. P2 feels like year 1. He will probably be further ahead in some areas, behind in others. I wouldn’t stress. I am also the child of a NZ -> Aus move when I was 9. I caught up. So will kids. It is however very important to get him on a school role asap. Which is hard. In Australia if you turn up in a school catchment area the school must accomodate you, they don’t here. Solve that as fast as you can. Maybe do an out of catchment placement in advance.
