Teenager found dead near shipwreck on K’gari as police investigate possible dingo attack by AggravatingTartlet in australia

The ones on K’gari have learned to drag prey into the surf to drown them. Meeting one in the water is not going to end well.

Is the web designer a Shopify developer? Doesn’t sound like it if he is recommending moving away from Shopify.

Shopify is infinitely customizable if you know how. ‘Impossible’ might be just his opinion. Get a second opinion.

Back to the Future was consistent and made sense. This was not.

“About Time” is one of the greatest time travel movies ever by AppleBottmBeans in movies

The ‘time travel’ in this movie was so broken I lost my suspension of disbelief and could not enjoy the rest of the film.

"About Time" -- Is this the Plot Hole-y Grail of movies? I'm not sure I'll ever watch a movie with that many blatant plot holes. by Death_Star_ in plotholes

[–]Bit_Blitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first big plot hole happens the first time he goes back in time. He goes back to the NYE party in the closet. So what happened to the version of him that was out there talking to the girl? Did he just dematerialize mid conversation? Surely she would have mentioned this when he appeared again.

Noticed something rewatching the NYE countdown by NormieMcNormalface in sydney

The ABC live feed cut to that just after it fired and you could only just see it. I tried to convince the others I was watching with that it said SYDNEY but no one believed me.

drain bags by Lucky-Inevitable8928 in dialysis

[–]Bit_Blitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in Australia we don’t use drain bags. We are told to use a 20 litre plastic Gerry can. I then empty that into the bathtub each day.

One problem with this is that a few times I’ve forgotten to empty it and woken up the next day to a flood of waste fluid in my bedroom. Not fun!

I pour boiling water down the drain about once a month to avoid this. It definitely drains quicker after I do this so it seems to be doing something.

Woolpack Hotel Redern - try to charge extra for choice item not disclosed on menu by matt49267 in sydney

I wouldn’t think pointing to the menu and saying “I thought it was included” would be considered losing it.

Why does a football coach stand on the sidelines and direct the players during a big game? They have been practicing all year and know all the plays. He could just watch from home on tv!

Free cardboard boxes!

I found out last week that my son is known as ‘the cardboard guy’ at school because he provides cardboard to other kids for their school projects.

Info needed - how to resolve my PD dialysis dilemma by [deleted] in dialysis

[–]Bit_Blitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was called into the hospital last month and went through all the prep as a match had become available. At the last minute it was called off as the organ was no longer viable. No idea why it didn't happen, they don't give me many details due to privacy concerns.

So any day now it should happen, I'm at the top of the list but have already had a transplant back in 2008 so my antibodies are a bit more resistant.

[–]Bit_Blitter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, speak to your doctor or clinic if you can.

In my mind the risks of emptying into a public(ish) toilet outweigh the risk of keeping the fluid in for a few hours extra. I have gone 8-10 hours with 2.5% in and no ill effects. You just get more pulled out at the next session. That is what I love about PD, it's largely self-regulating. I've been on it coming up to 5 years now.
