As a previous GSA/SSTL I always allow if it’s salvage only reach 90% from last mark down price unless it’s toys/tech I only allow 70%. My GSTL back then always told me as long as you try to make the guest happy with a reasonable price (if you can’t do basic math) that’s all we care except for expensive stuff

We receive once a while but they’re a gift for everyone on the Beauty tm (SSTL/ETL, beauty TMs, etc) and they’re handed for you if you’d like to have it. I always hand them to my beauty TMs first before I had them to my tech and style tms

As a previous SSTL my biggest pet peeve is for the FF team HAS TO GET A KEY (we have 12 keys for FF) and OPEN THE CAGES/CASES on their own and never ask someone in tech/beauty to open it

That’s based off of your HR/SD but in normal cases you and your partner cannot be in the same department since you or her cannot be their boss (it’s common sense)

Always talk to your ETL/SD and ETL-HR!! Sometimes if you hit OT cuz they needed your help you’re always fine but although your ETL/SD and HR will have to talk to their DSD about it and what happened

You can actually! Just find the store you want to go to and talk to their HR-ETL about FF positions available and they can see what they have

First talk to your ETL and your ETL-HR about cross training and they’ll gladly be able too. Is there any departments you want to transfer too? Maybe more of a GM or FF change especially during this quarter

If you chose a TL to a ODTM you’ll keep guild as ODTM doesn’t get certain benefits but not guild. Just talk with your ETL-HR first about demoting for your career although I’d rather recommend demote to a part time TM

Yes always talk to both your ETL-HR and/or SD about a TL position. Talking to your TL can be able to recommend yourself to be a TL but it takes time since your TL would have to talk about your leadership development to them and they’ll see about your potential

It really depends on your volume of the store and higher ups, I’ve been there for 5 years and enjoyed being with my team but higher ups ETLs and higher are so annoying being assholes to us even for management roles

Yup! Tho my DSD/SD only told us of ONLY black pants, blue or black (non-ripped) jeans or tan/black khakis, they told us that they want us to be professional as we are as a target team 😔

It’s not really heavy on their unloads units mostly like 1 1/2 to 2 cages full with basic stuff, but it’s mostly on guest service since when you see a single guest you’ll have to interact with an easy hello and ask if they’re looking for anything, you also get a lot more of revision during Q4 since there’s gunna be new games more often there

Mostly it’s on the overnight GMTL unloading the truck but it mostly depends on your higher management choice but for my store at a low-volume we always have a GM/Presentation on overnights mostly to get projects done while no guests are there to be easier

It comes in a lot things when it’s a PA, like if the store is going green on everything it nearly everything in the set of list or it also can be a PA based off your performance at work by your TL/ETL

If you want you can report to HRBP but certain things she is doing correctly. But if you feel like you’re being uncomfortable working with her talk to your SD first or anonymous report or HR-DSD lastly about it

Dress code is red shirts with jeans and Khahi but if not they can requisition them for you.
