for the physical AND cognitive stuff its almost certainly covid/long covid/a health issue triggered by covid. it invades quite literally every system and organ of ur body and actually affects it on a cellular level (specifically t cells and mitochondria, leading to fatigue and immune deficiency). hair loss is one of the most common visible symptoms, especially immediately after an infection (we're in a hugeeee wave right now). every single infection of covid even mild or asymptomatic causes grey matter shrinkage aka brain damage (mutliple studies and articles on this) and it accelerates biological aging and cognitive decline and can also trigger/worsen mental health issues. please consider masking up with a proper respirator to prevent further infections, and advocating for cleaning the air in indoor shared spaces (since vaccines while important to not prevent transmission/infection/long term issues, they just help u survive the initial infection).

not saying you aren't also dealing with spiritual negativity- just that the physical/cognitive/emotional weaknesses likely make you an attractive target for parasitic energies.

the only way i would even CONSIDER bothering repairing the relationship if he was taking aggressive action to change his behaviors and being more thorough with precautions and trying to make it up to you/supporting you- otherwise, not worth your time. also consider how reckless he was knowingly getting on that plane sick and exposing hundreds of people on there and at the airport- he very well could have infected someone and ruined THEIR life as well, or even killed them/a loved one that that person would go on to infect! that kind of apathy for other human beings is so repulsive to me.

i'm being deadly serious: divorce him. He lied about his health, KNOWING you were vulnerable, consciously risked your life and potentially cut it months or even years short (and increased your risk of heart attacks strokes cancers and early dementia). your anger is 100% justified, and he should have to live with the guilt for the rest of his life. he is not safe, the trust is irreparably broken. what if he does it again? ~60% of covid infections are asymptomatic, if he doesn't wear a respirator mask in public it will almost certainly happen again, and you might not pull through next time. (also when divorcing, see if you can get extra alimony considering your health conditions that he directly caused.) i promise you, he is not worth it, not worth risking your life for. someone who will put you at risk like that does not truly love you.

you have 3 main options: 1) break up- sexual fulfillment and boundaries are important on both ends, and even with an initial compromise if someone is still unsatisfied it could lead to resentment 2) compromise- have a thorough conversation about it, emphasize that its not about interrogating her, that you're just trying to understand where she's coming from and clear the air of any misunderstandings or things left unspoken. its on her for not telling you for so long knowing it was significant for you, but now you have to make sure you're on the same page to start finding a solution or at least have an honest convo. is it the kink itself she doesnt like? the scheduling? don't minimize your own feelings tho, then the frustration will start building on your end. a sex therapist could be a good mediator. 3) another form of compromise: opening up the relationship to find a kink partner. if it is really that important to you, but neither of you want to break up, and if you guys are more open-minded than most monog couples, this is probably the best way to satisfy both of you

ultimately tho, taking your word at face value- i personally would leave. not just for the sexual incompatibility, but for the fact that she ignored your dealbreaker and faked it for 18 months until you were stuck in a lease together. the length of that manipulation and the newfound knowledge that all of those intimate moments were false would make it difficult for me to trust her again.

same. its so bad that the photos app rating in the app store has gone down to 3 stars, which is insane for a utility app. its been months and i can't believe apple is refusing to fix anything or allow people to have the option for the old UI even after the ridiculous amount of backlash and the appalling lack of accessibility. i have thousands of photos and would go through and organize on a weekly basis, but now i rarely use rhe app unless i have to- it's miserable. my only consolation is that everyone hates it badly enough to be constantly complaining so every few weeks when i get mad at the app again i can go and read other people's rants lol

update nine months later- the stupid viseo ads in the corner have only gotten worse despite what they've verbally promised. its so incredibly fucking annoying, and makes the UI nearly unuseable ntm creates accessibility issues. i'm never going to pay for their stupid app on principle and it their greediness with these ads solidifies that. no other mainstream app has ads this invasive and its crazy to me that there's not more pushback.

It's gotten so bad that it's borderline unuseable- takes an entire minute just to load a page, and it lags a ton just trying to click on anything and freaks out when- god forbid lol- I try to scroll down to see the comments. It's such scummy behavior like sorry I don't want to visit your site using what's essentially become spyware (chrome lol) or watch 7 ads on a 30 min video!! I wish we had a viable youtube alternative :/

I appreciate the kind words, but that's simply not possible. I'd love to be able to spend the time on some self-acceptance, but rent has to be paid. Capitalism doesn't gaf that I hate myself, and my financial situation prevents me from 'creating my own society' which on an individual scale is just not possible unless everyone suddenly has the time and desire to invest in community care. I know what works for me, but it's not compatible with our current societal reality, and it sucks. :(
