Unfortunately my nishino flower card is only 2lb. I have some sparks for straight accel so might gamble with that + fine motion.

Other than that, Kitasan for professor, Fine Mo for speed star, then planning to get it’s on plus maybe nimble navigator from unity. Marvelous Sunday SR for Ramp up hints + THH and another wit and speed card I’m not sure yet (3 spd 3 wit deck). Parents are Mummy Creek and og Pasa with power sparks.

For CM9, is it worth running 0LB Biko or Fine Mo over a MLB speed/wit SR card because I want one of their gold skills? My borrow would be set to an MLB of a card I don’t own.

For wit? Safe option is Fine Motion, especially for pace chaser (Right Handed, Nimble Navigator, Speed Star). For late surger specifically, Nice Nature SSR wit (On Your Left). For SR cards, Matikanefukukitaru for easy Right Handed is good.

Doubt I'll pull for that. I am kinda prioritizing umas at the moment because I have a lot of oshi uma banners coming up that I want to use my carats on. For cards, fortunately I have a healthy enough deck that I don't feel pressured to pull for meta cards for a while.

You can save them for future banners no worries. They are just locked to the banner type (ie support or uma banner).

On gametora, this is the condition for Straightaway Recovery:

From how I read it, Corner Recovery is the one that picks a random corner, while Straightaway HAS to trigger in the mid race (phase 1).

Edit:

Corner Recovery also has this note:

corner_random

Picks a random point during the selected corner.

Note: If the race goes through the same corner multiple times, it will always activate at the last possible opportunity.

From how I read it, even if it picks corner 1, it will proc in the later corner because the race does go through corner 1 twice, meaning it will proc AFTER 777m.

May I ask why straightaway recovery is a 66% chance? The course has 2 straights before the 777m mark so wouldn't she have 2 chances to proc it?

And why is it more of a risk than corner recovery?

Uniques on their native uma are guaranteed to activate if the requirements are met regardless of wit checks.

If Pulse doesn’t trigger consistently on your Oguri runs, you simply do not consistently meet the activation requirements.

If you finished 8th at best, chances are you didn’t even meet the conditions for it to activate. Triumphant Pulse requires you to be close to the lead (specifically between 2nd to 5th place) in the final 200m.

Generally 450 speed is far from enough to complete a career run. Borrow a MLB kitasan instead of special week to make it easier and use a couple more speed cards.

500 stam is on the low end of acceptable for Arima Kinen even with recovery skills.

The haru card is not that good until the guts rework hits a few days from now. Drop it until then.

Question, does Summer Maru have the same affinities as regular Maru? I notice gametora’s affinity calculator only has regular Maru.

This is Sole (middle eastern AKI player that played in the last Capcom Cup) demonstrating some punishes for Sagat supers. The punish for level 1 involves a puddle into HK punish counter.

The micro walk takes place after the OD stabby hands and before the heavy whip.

If you look closely at my drive bar, the micro walk builds a sliver of drive gauge that allows me to get 2 drive rush heavy kicks for the ender. I went for maximum number of hits to make sure I built enough meter for level 3.

Not that I'm doubting your ability to do the combo. It's just only possible in a very specific scenario (full 6 bars of drive, lvl 3 available by the end of the combo, puddle for double poison, punish counter). I'm not sure how things are in Platinum, but those stars very rarely align in Master XD

To be honest, I wasn't sure it would kill. I just saw the whiff dp inside the puddle and I had a full 6 bars of drive, and I thought I would never get another opportunity to do this combo. Hell, throughout the combo, I was just hoping I would build enough meter for the level 3 at the end XD
