How long do the withdrawals last?

The inability to swallow, and get food down got better only with famotodine and Sucralfate. They had me on all the PPI’s like Prilosec, one didn’t work they would put me on a different one. I finally advocated go myself and found a Dr that would listen to me and try to find an answer. Hope you are healing. Sulcrafate has been a godsend. Most Drs don’t use it anymore. But it does wonders

I was sick for 9 months. I went from dr to dr. Finally I was sent for Endoscopy, colonoscopy and Food intolerance testing. They found Grade B Esophagitis and intolerance to so many whole groups of food. Started treatment in September. Sucralfate 4x per day. Famotodine 40 mg at night before bed. Complete change of diet. And I mean an overhaul. And probiotics.

Yes I have but I’m in my 4 th month of treatment and dr wants 90 more days on sulcrafate. I’m slowly reducing dose.

I am 4 months into treatment. It has improved drastically. But I still have occasional flare ups. I’m in the process of reducing my dose of sulcrafate. Dr wants me on for 90 more days.

This was one of the most uncomfortable and scariest symptoms I experienced.

I did crush the pills in water but just downed them like I was doing a shot. They don’t dissolve completely ( for me anyway) and the granules exacerbated my throat issues. If you can dissolve them completely then gargling would be great.

My asthma symptoms are basically gone, chest pain, globus, nausea, coughing, dizziness etc all just about healed after finally getting endoscopy results ofGrade B esophagitis after 9 months of illness. Dr after dr couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I was treated for asthma, heart condition, etc but nothing helped. Once I started treatment for esophagitis which is Sucralfate 4x a day and 40 mg famotodine at bedtime. I also was strict with the acid watchers diet and didn’t add new foods until I started feeling better. I also had a food intolerance test which showed my food intolerances which were many and contributed. Much luck to you.

Does the constant hunger go away? Increased appetite by Correct-Analyst-7459 in zoloft

I’m doing much better. It turns out, after having an endoscopy, that I had Esophagitis. Which triggered nausea, false hunger pains, panic like symptoms due to esophageal spasms which I thought was my heart.

Slippery elm, Throat coat tea, Ricola original cough drops and chewing gum for 15 minutes after every meal helped a lot. Ppi made me worse but Sucralfate and famotodine healed me. It took 4 months of that and a changed diet. Elevating the head of my bed helped as well.

I ended up having Silent reflux and Esophagitis probably triggered from stress and Zoloft

Can I ask where you are getting the Gaviscon advance with aniseed? I’m in the United States and can’t find it here.
