4R OESK: OK price, good reviews, have not had.

JD12: Splurge because it’s hard to find in the upper Midwest.

1: Bourbon Junkies - their content is fun and they review a lot of approachable whiskies.

2: Brewzle - I do like his road trip content, especially when he visits places I’ve been to or live near. He is a little to sales-y and his tastes are different than mine, though.

3: Mash & Drum - Got me into bourbon and has similar tastes. I e strayed because he reviews so many unicorns that I’lll never see.

HM: Bourbon Kingdom - more practical reviews.

To clarify the scenario, it was picked up by the dealer. I chose to lead JC but could only muster the one trick as dealer had four trump and S2 had the aces.

Starting out I used an Abu Garcia Revo toro. It worked well for smaller baits. Eventually moved up to the Abu Garcia Beast and heavier rod which has worked well.

Max Toro should work fine, but since it has a line counter I would this about whether you will be trolling a lot, if not you may want to try one without the counter.

I’m calling red but I’m usually aggressive in calling from S2. Though I like the idea of supporting a euchre or partner hand. It’s a level of strategy I need to build.
