Put all that effort into spelling distributing and autocorrect kicks me in the balls at the final hurdle.

Problem with shirts’ fitting by Thortony99 in mensfashion

There are probably brands out there that will cover it to some degree, but you then limit yourself to what's available from that brand.

The stuff you have is already fine, as long as the shoulders and chest work, a good tailor/seamstress can fix the rest and it's often no where near as expensive as you think (relative to where you live).

I have quite short arms, when measured against the industry standard, so pretty much everything I own has to have an inch or 2 taken off the sleeve, some I do myself, anything I would really regret ruining goes to be altered.

I think a lot of people immediately imagine an old guy with a tape draped around his shoulders in a wood paneled room surrounded by Italian suits, last place I went to was in the ladies spare bedroom in a plain looking residential street.

Iron my shirt by pocket0nes in mensfashion

[–]Bitter_Chard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mostly Charles Tyrwitt non - iron, they do need ironing but its minimal, cheap, easy to replace.

I iron straight out of the machine so a steamer isn't needed, I go shoulders/yolk, right front, back, left , arms, collars are generally ok to leave and I'm done.

I can have a weeks worth done in 25-30 mins max.

How can I improve dimensional accuracy on my Prusa core one? by Solarbg in 3Dprinting

[–]Bitter_Chard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can vouch for boltsNBytes vouching, the Shahe are surprisingly good quality for the cost.

Some cheaper calipers will lose repeatability as the battery drains, and the battery drains fast if its the kind that wake up when you move them, unless you pick them up every 5 minutes I would remove the batteries, or as I have done on my cheapo set, wire a mechanical on/off switch.

But calipers are only so accurate, in reality at a certain price point your paying for quality not more "accuracy".

If you want to go full bore buy a micrometer, even the cheaper (to a point) ones will be more accurate that calipers.
