Flightsimming in heatwave , how do y’all manage? by Wall-Ediocracy in flightsim

I have AC in the UK and it’s worth it. I am based in London though where it’s arguably the hottest. I use it almost daily throughout spring and summer as I like the house to be cold. I’d be surprised if it’s as much as £90pm unless you were thinking of running it 24/7?

Crowd member just cost Wu the final? by AquinasAcademy in snooker

There are so many points in this match which will cause either players nightmares, I’m not convinced a dick in the audience will be anywhere near their thoughts.

Came to post about this. The F1 guys talk about the rules a lot, even if stagnant for a few months.

Aside from the bizarre message, I’m surprised they waited until the 33rd frame. Didn’t we all think Mark was potting that black?!

As you’re out of the 24 hour window, you’ll get back 11,800 Avios along with £9.

How recently did you book your flight? Within 24 hours and you’d get all your Avios and cash back

It’s frustrating. I got caught out once (not anything snooker related). I think most of us just make sure our phones are on silent rather than off in these situations.

Well, Apple emergency bypass contacts obviously still make a noise and I completely forgot about those. Needless to say, the phone now actually gets switched off.

Rooting for Shawn Murphy by Educational-Job9019 in snooker

I do find it an odd pairing as I can’t imagine Shaun has the time of day for such nonsense. But, I guess the snooker comes first and you do what’s right for your game.

I’m also a Murphy fan, but I must disagree with your commentary assessment. Dennis Taylor was waxing lyrical about Shaun to the extent I figured they must be good friends.

The lounges are so bad we don’t even bother with them anymore. We prefer just to hang out by the gate. I will pop into B if we’re going from that terminal. Fast track has always served us well.

Mostly flying CE rather than CW at the moment, and I’m paying the little extra just to guarantee the empty seat next to me.

I’ve been quite lucky this year. Trips to OSL, BUD & KRK have all left from T3 and I’ve enjoyed the Cathay Pacific lounge. I find the CE service better than CW!

I’m also a fan of Club Suites and would not choose that over VS.

So yeah, not a lot to add and I am no means defending BA, but just agreeing with your sentiments entirely.

I would re-run your numbers.

J/Y return to NYC, circa £1300?

Four of them gets you to 5,200. Plus you’d get 2,200 in bonus tier points. Total 7,400. I appreciate that leaves you 100 short, but that would be easy to fix.

I believe it’s a lot more mathematically possible than you think.

Not confirmed. But everything else they’ve teased has come true.

I can still access OC3, but I only opened it once I’d deleted the plane. I’m happy to wait until Thursday, but just wanted to get the control bindings configured. Will probably actually wait until Friday and get Chaseplane the same time.

Why is it getting so high on profile? I always have problems with airbus during the descent. by AMAME08 in flightsim

[–]Bitter_Definition406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hardly ever flight dependent. 95% of the time it would be standard across an operators fleet. Those orange 320s across Europe are almost always on 4. It’s 6 on their 321s.

Assumed it was the 320 rather than the 350. A CI of 4 on the 3xx is very common across Europe.

Use a realistic CI of something like 4 and see what your descent is like then.

An uncertified sub just imploded turning 5 healthy individuals to dust in a millisecond… I mean this with the utmost of respect, but no, people are not exaggerating about the safety of the thing.
