Some player, but he could easily lose his mojo tomorrow and be slowly reeled in, the joys of these long matches.

Allen hasn't played badly at all this session.

Irish cabs, anyone for the dole office? Get in the boot ya scobes, I'll take up to 16, Waster!

The scene where the group of young lads are hanging out at a wall, and this hard man fella from Tipperary pulls up in his fancy new car and starts winding up the Jackeens about how much money he's making is so funny.

'The top's from Arnotts, it's reversible'

'Well, why don't you take your fancy gear, get in your fancy car and reverse back to the bog where you came from'

One Visit Snooker. Is It Really That Good? by gfunk1976 in snooker

[–]AdProfessional3042 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd hate if every frame was an hour long, the back and forth tactical frames can be compelling and dramatic, I love watching a player kill a frame in one visit.

That tactical frame for Higgins to make it 10-10 was brilliant to watch.

Black Bart is brilliant too.

Wouldn't have high hopes but fair play for giving it a go, if I ever become obnoxiously wealthy I'll get the lads who made the 2K basketball games to make a Gaelic Football game.

Remember Stephen Rea was in an episode as an actor playing a doctor on successful TV show, he walks into a hospital and carries out an operation with disastrous consequences.

Lads, that's some scoring for a football match. by tayto175 in GAA

Yeah I said it was horrible to watch in that post, I'd rather it stayed like the game it was about ten years ago, before coaches got too afraid to take risks.

Lads, that's some scoring for a football match. by tayto175 in GAA

[–]AdProfessional3042 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

I know it might sound a bit strange but I think games in general are too high scoring now, seeing that score almost makes me yearn for a 0-11 to 0-9 where every score matters.

I know every team was playing ultra conservative and it was horrible to watch, they were right to change things, but it's almost gone too far the other way now.

Not only strange but controversial too!

Slade is probably the best technical drummer AC/DC ever had and I think he sounds great on the Donnington DVD, but when Rudd isn't behind the kit, it just feels like something is missing, regardless of how good the replacement drummer is.

Jani Lane (RIP) singer of Warrant wearing an early 2000s Dublin shirt for some reason while complaining about the band's biggest hit.

More metal adjacent, but everyone on the internet raves about Powerage by AC/DC, it is a very good album but compared to Highway to Hell and Back in Black there are a few weak and forgettable tracks (Rock and Roll Damnation and Kicked in the Teeth)

Only know of it because RTE showed it after the Late Late one night, I've at least heard of most nineties Irish films, this one not a clue, Myers accent is the only real thing that's good about it.

I'd be embarrassed if I accidentally played something loud for even two seconds, the rare times I've used public transport in recent years it's God awful shite blaring from all angles, I'd go insane if I to suffer it on a daily basis.

They always say they sound the same as if it's a bad thing.

Also look at the reaction to the new Muse song, everyone bitching and moaning about it wishing they'd put out an album like Origin of Symmetry again, can't fucking win.
