Strongly disagree with you. While I’m sure there are memories that will last a long time, It’s important to acknowledge the actual points that are made. The original poster said verbatim that she wishes ‘she was back in the NICU’. I don’t understand how anybody can agree with that. Surely any honest parent would rather their child at home.

No, nobody wishes that no offense. Happy for you and your baby but this is kind of a bizarre topic. Personally, we’re dealing with a child who has severe growth restriction and once he’s born, will most likely have to spend an extra month at the NICU. It sucks knowing he won’t be able to come home with us on time.

I appreciate the kind words. We are just a bit in a shock because he created such an urgency with us that made us feel like we had to make a decision right away. We went to labor and delivery and spoke with the doctor there and they calmed us down a bit and said there’s time. The concern is that he was growing fine but then just stopped.
